Tough night no SPECIALS
If the weather is drier by Tomorrow night try these just for an interest

R2-1 HIGH CADENCE very moody, would win this if on song WIN
R3-1 THE SOUNDS good gate speed be prominent PLACE
R5-1 OUT OF ARTICA handy nag , suggest EW
R9-1 ONYA GIRL only had 3 runs, yet to win but well boxed EW

All inside barriers, if its pissing down with rain, ignore the selections
If its a dry track, have some fun and have a little nibble.

BAYMAN sorry for cutting your lunch, I need to exercise tomorrow
and will be busy, hence the early late mal.

SCD Preview

Postby SCD » Thu Dec 21, 2006 11:13 pm

think it's a tough night and if the rain keeps coming I won't be betting - Gawler doesn't handle the wet very well.. fingers crossed it will be dry and we can have a bet

Race 1 - 9 and 10 the top hopes (esp 10) with good place chances to 1,3,7
Race 2 - 1 to lead and poss win... 7 a big danger (should run quinella) with place hopes to 2,3,5,8,9,10
Race 3 - good little race (very even) chances being 1,5,7 (think 1 will lead) with good place chances to 2,4,10
Race 4 - This may sound silly (but at about 20/1) I'm tipping Physical Graffiti an excellent e/w hope.. so put 2,8 on top from 3,4,6,7,9
Race 5 - 1,7,8 the top hopes (8 on top) with place hopes to 2,5,9
Race 6 - 4 out of the 9 trained by G hill and 7 of the 9 by a trainer with the first initial G.. the only positive in the race.. don't bet here... possibly 3,6,7 as the hopes..
Race 7 - 4,8,10 the top hopes next best 3,6,7,9,11
Race 8 - 1,5,8 the top hopes with 3,6,7 the next best
Race 9 - OH MAL - I went better then the 1 last start.. so going with 7,8 as the best roughies, with best place chances to 1,3,9

Suggested Bets
Race 1 - 10 e/w
Race 2 - 1 + 7 in multis
Race 4 - 2 e/w (small bet)

Betfair tips
R1 - 8 going no good and driver is as bad as Scaffidi
R4 - 7 just gone right off (older mare = no surprise)
R5 - 1 can win, but think the 2 will put lots of pace on early and think it will be under the odds

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

SCD
R9-1 ON YA GIRL
What do you mean a poor run last start
It was only beaten 131.8 metres :!:
I was impressed with its other 2 runs at GDP when placed.
Looks to be a race of little depth and a fair EW bet.

R5-2 if my boy Simmo Jones rips into OUT OF AFRICA I will chastice him severly.

Onya Girl - used for 100m to find the front, lead and gone at the 500m - P Cav won't be able to help himself, so not for me..

As for Simmo - if he doesn't have a crack there is something wrong.. it has great gate speed and should just about get across Out of Artica - especially with R O'shea on it... but time will tell

GAWLER 22/12/2006

Postby bayman » Thu Dec 21, 2006 11:54 pm

gawler, leaders track !!!

r1 chances 1,3,4,9,10 the 9 & 10 a clearly the best two but the draw is their only problem
r2 only two winning chances 1 (leader) & 7 (on its back & it does have a quick sprint) but i think 1 from 7 with a host to run 3rd 2,3,5,6,8,9,10
r3 chances 1 (leader),4,5,7
r4 main three 3,4,6 with 6 top pick, while 7,8,9 for multis with 1 being a rough place hope from draw
r5 1 (likely leader & winner), main danger 7 with 5,9 next best
r6 very open 2,3,4,6,7 (the 6 trialled ok but this is a poor draw)
r7 hard trott, chances 3,4,5,6,8 next best 9 (lay 11 boys)
r8 1, this is an e/w special from 5,8 with ?'s on 6,7 (7 trialled just ok)
r9 chances 1,3,5,7 next best 4 i think watching the poles only three runs indicate to me it is a sit-sprinter not a leader, if you forget its last run it is a good thing but how do you ignore it ? wait for it to be drawn to take a sit, if it was mine i'd hand up & try & outsprint them in this race

suggested bet(s)
r1 no1 win
r3 no1 win
r5 no1 win
r8 no1 e/w

punks,mt,dutchy, ag etc etc lay
r7 no11 will be no value from the handicap

good luck on the punt & remember gawler is a leaders track

Thankfully for me - I didn't get to the bank or tab this afternoon... it would have been a bad night..

Hope Dutchy / Punk / MT followed the Betfair selections... got a $1.90 and $3.10 favourite beaten...

Mal (and Bayman) R O'shea = joke of a driver.. put only in perspective that he is driving ordinary horses for an ordinary trainer..
