PORT PIRIE 19/1/07

Not a track I have a good record with - so usually stay clear (except a couple of place bets)

R1 - 1,2,3 in a speed burn early - so tough race.. go with 3 (best of the on pacers) 8 and 9 e/w - 1 and 2 won't run money!
R2 - 7 and 8 on top from 1,9,10,11
R3 - 8 on top from 1,9 (should run tri)
R4 - 7,10,11 on top from 1,2,3,8
R5 - 1 on top (special) from 2,4,7,8,9
R6 - 1 will lead, so 1,7 on top (7 good e/w bet) from 2,3,4,8,9
R7 - 1,3,7 on top with 2 and 5 the only other place hopes

Suggested Bets
R1 - 9 e/w
R3 - Tri 8 - 19 - 19 and 189 boxed
R5 - 1 w
R6 - 7 e/w

Betfair specials
R3 - 9 (can't win with the 8 in the race)
R4 - 2 went good to win last week, but up a long way in grade
R7 - 5 weak animal, needs soft run to win

Well a really bad night tipping..

R1 - 9 worst drive of all time.. comes off the fence at the 400m with the death seat dying and galloped and almost fell, the horse that took it's place almost won!
R3 - Military finally driven better and won

However if you followed the tips in Race 4 - the exacta 11 from 7 paid $220 (so with a $27.90 winner) it's a small redemption!
