well, it won :D (paid $1.30), however if the jockey didn't give it 2 taps on the rump after jumping the last the 2nd horse would have won because the winning horse responded to a couple of taps when it was looking like being beaten & it went away from the 2nd horse over the concluding stages of the event....DV, if you don't believe me watch the replay ;)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I dont think it should have gone this far the stewards in charge should have jumped on those who cut them up when they cant earn money and taken the bull by the horns and said this has to stop but they didnt. Now you get all the tree huggers wanting to ban whips etc. Plenty of horses need a good crack or two to get the job done.
