ha ha, just checked my bets and not only did I clean up on bets on the Kings to win by heaps I accidentally picked against Dutchy's selection and had the over bet. $100 bet for $202.50 return!!!!

I loved the first 8 mins of the second half, they really slowed it and was looking great but then they got running again and both teams hit all their 3's which hurt, The kings shooting 55% all night was unbelievable...after all that I only missed by 7 points...I really should have been on Sydney at the line, it was a real solid bet...lucky I got my investment back after following the Late MAL inthe trots tonight

spewing I was out Saturday night, I indicated above that I likes the under 199.5 in the Perth/Cairns game but didnt bet it and they shot 166 points!!! bugger

well move onto tonights game - Sydney away to Brisbane...Brisbane changed venues back to their old home where 7500 fans will be waiting compared to their usual 2000....Brisbane should be able to blow Sydney away here who are coming off an easy win but the opposition was poor, it isnt this time...

Game 2 of the NBL tonight and this is a great series, Game 1 was one of the best games of NBL ive seen for years...these are 2 very even sides so betting on the result is tough, looking at the total game score it has predictably come down to 196.5 (from 202.5) after the 193 points in G1...but looking closer there was 118 points in the first half in G1 but it slowed with only 75 points in the second half, the over bettors would have been shitty....games betweent hese 2 teams in the regular season have gone well over 200 in the games at the cage.....also like Anstey's comments -

"Normally you come here and say you didn’t play good defence (but) I thought our defence was OK and our offence was just ordinary in the second-half," he said.

"To beat Brisbane you've got to keep the scoreboard ticking over and we didn't do that."

i expect a highly offensive game...

Dutchy I agree- game 1 was a bottler. Can't wait for tonights game. Melbourne really were strangled in the last 5 mins of game 1. They were putting up some very ordinary, low percentage shots and really should feel it was one that got away. Not sure about the total score reaching 196. As you said the scoring really dried up and this is a final with much more pressure than the regular season games(stating the obvious here).

Tonight is a tough one to call. I might take the 2.35 on Brisbane to win or Brisbane to win(1-10) at 3.30 but won't be going too hard at it. It would be rare for a team that have won 20 consecutive games to pay 2.35.

How good is d-mac for his age?? He's at least 40 isn't he and still starting for a gun team.

PH...DMac is 42 and his son got a run in the last minute tonight and missed a dunk that would have given me the win with 2 sec to go!!!!!!!!!!!

Total points 196...I lose by 0.5 points...another great game though and we now get at least 2 more...looking forward to it

alright Lads...I reckon the NBL season finishes tonight...Brisbane head to Melbourne need 1 more win for the championship, Ive watched this series very closely and Brisbane are the better team no doubt and the pressure is right on the Tigers here, Brisbane are away from home but were 11 points up in the last game here at half time..I reckon Brisbane win this SU but the bookies are giving 4.5 points so Ill take that comfort and hit this one hard....
