DAMMERELL has the happy knack of having the winning horses
below the TAB odds.
Nearly every race he has that uncanny ability.

you idiot he has EVERY HORSE IN EVERY RACE shorter than the tote
even if he hasn't laid a horse but it shortens on the tote he'll shorten it as well

the week bayman had gastro ecky and myself were watching damarells markets and i think there was only 1 race when he had some value when he had arva ginger @ $4, i then put $10 on it at that price and he immediately brought it into $3.50

imagine if you had $50 or $100 on it, he would've shorten it to $2.00
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

lets get one straight right away......bookies in this state have always been pissweak.

interesting point mal made about the shananigans etc and giving credit to bookmaker dammarell for even being there cos when i was in sydney in january it was big news on the sporting channels when the lone bookie pulled down his board for good at newie trots sat'dy nights all due to the cheating he quoted as his reason for quitting.

i find it amusing to hear jj refering to prices "downstairs" on tab radio, he makes it sound as if there is a strong ring at gdp!!!

finally, how do the bookie numbers compare over in vic does anyone know, eg: the valley, ballarat, kilmore etc?

STAMPY

We have several very strong bookies in SA.
But they field at the races as a rule
BANNEAR/WEBSTER/SEAL are good strong bookies.

Trots bookies is different and as I said give some credit to DAMMERELL
he is the lone survivor out there.
To compete at the trots he has to bet inflated percentages.
Unfortunately in competing with the Professionals and other in the know punters
he is not catering for the smaller or inferior punters.

He is not there for a haircut, hes gunna try and win.
We have to remember that its bookies jobs and they need to win wages.
That can be stressful

I read SCD/BAYMAN complaining about certain drives or tactics
and maybe just maybe if the stewards made tactics or drivers more accountable
it may translate to extra bookies and crowds and stakemonies and......

The first night of this years Interdominion heats there were only 5-6 bookies max at Moonee Valley.
they were all pathetic. None hiding anywhere else!
Obviously have shit loads more for the gallops there.

Globe derby had about 7-8 for the inter i think.
