Macca is well respected in football circles and a down to earth coach that would go well at the crows. Where are you saying he is not respected?

I have not been approached to coach at the WFC this year, next year or any year. I have not approached the WFC to coach this year, next year or any year. This is an unconditional statement.

Macca's coaching ability is far from being labelled as "respected"

Naturally hes got enormous respect in the footy community for his playing ability and for being a good "down to earth" bloke in general, but as coach - sorry NO !!!!

Mark Bickley now at $2.50 ... given he's had 2 wins and a narrow loss to Geelong, plus Gold Coast and Richmond to come which should both be winnable given current form, anyone else think this is pretty good value?

Surely he would be a shoe-in for the job if he wanted it?

Hasn't done much wrong, but has had a relatively easy run so far (plus Adelaide actually beat Geelong at home last year), which I'm sure the selection panel will take into account.
He is probably too inexperienced to be appointed with confidence.

Eade would definately have to be in the mix now.

i guess the thing for the crows, is Primus took over late last season and his record got him the gig this year, do they think the same could happen if they go with Bickley?

Yes that is true MT but look at what Roos did at Sydney in a similar situation..... Primus is just unlucky that he took over a basket case of a playing list, and a basket case of a football club...... Port will be staying down for a few more years yet.... No one will want to play for them.....
