Postby SCD » Fri Mar 30, 2007 11:43 pm

Good nights racing - with not many specials and lots of tough races, plenty of value to be had

R1 - 1,6,9 on top from 2,4,5,7
R2 - 1,3,5,6,8,10 the main hopes
R3 - 7,8 on top from 1,5,6,9
R4 - 7 a great hope from 1,6,9,10
R5 - 3,7,9 on top from 1,2,5,6
R6 - 9 and 11 a great quinella from 1,2,5,7,10
R7 - 2,3,8,10,11,12 the main hopes in a tough race
R8 - 7 and 9 on top from 2,3,4,8,10
R9 - 7,8,9 on top from the field except 4
R10 - 3,6,7,8 the main hopes

Suggested Bets
All Up
R1 - 1 place special
R3 - 8 place
R4 - 7 place (should be winning)
R6 - 9 + 11 place (or take the quin)
R8 - 9 place

Betfair Bets
R3 - 1 up in grade on last weeks good win
R4 - 6 looks a good horse, poorly drawn

Good luck if you're having a bet

some horses tonight will be shorter than they should be so tread warily

r1 chances 1,2,5,6,9 with 5,6 the top two
r2 chances 3,5,6,7,8,10. i think the speed will be on so i like 8 e/w
r3 7 on top from 1,4,8,9
r4 7 should win (i wouldn't take anything shorter than 11/8 though) from 1,3,4,5,9,10
r5 chances 6,7,8,10 with next best 1,2
r6 9,11 should run the quinella comfortably, i think 11 just for multis 1,2,3,4,5,8,10
r7 chances 3,7,8,9,11,12 i have 3,8 on top but if i got 20/1 or longer i'd be on (in a small way) 11
r8 the shooooooooosh bet from a few weeks back well its a shooooooosh bet again from 1,2,3,4,5,10
r9 clear top pick 8 from 2,3,7,10
r10 chances 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 with 6 a clear top pick

suggested bet(s)
allup
r1 no 5 place
r4 no 7 place
r6 no 11 place
r8 no 7 place

& seperately
r2 no 8 e/w

betfair lay
r4 no 6 too hard this draw
r8 no 9 a lot harder this draw worth risking

good luck on the punt

LATE MAL
-----------

As the great man says tread warily this is a very tough meeting.

R2-6 URAJOKIN{$3]
barrier might not be a problem
this malpet continues to reap in the $$$$$ for us
all Webster has to do is not fall of the horse and will be in the finish
PLACE

R3-7 CHESS RAIDER{$4]
the late mal last week was villa tirano and it won, it should lead from box 1
this will give CHESS RAIDER a delightful sit and should be in the finish
we have been following this horse for all the wrong reasons.
we have lost too much $$$$$$ on this horse, but tonights the night
PLACE

R9-8 THE SOUNDS[$4-50]
barrier 8 should be ok and with D Harding in the sulky looks a chance
ordinary conveyances going around
if THE SOUNDS drew a front line barrier it would just about have won this race
PLACE

Suggest ratio betting for the above runners
1 win 3 places ratio

PS Rocket Ray I know you read these previews watch CHESS RAIDER with interest
From this barrier there is no decision to lead or not, but then again.....

I got the exacta Bayman - didn't really think it could win.. but the odds meant I put it in to win.. boxed up 7,8,9 for 50c - cause I didn't really like the race, but gives me a bigger bank for the quaddie tonight - really like leg 1 and leg 3 and wide in the the others..
