just found out that in the very near future the Pistilli family will be getting out of the industry. they are giving Genista Road a few more starts and getting rid of some of the others in the kennel.

Its a shame about Genista Road not being able to produce its best form here, after they paid $15 grand for it from NSW, it broke down in the strath cup which was probably its 3rd or 4th local start.

it will be a sad day when they finally leave the industry.

they had some success in the late 90's with the Irinka dogs.

GENISTA ROAD went very average today, got a mile back and made some ground up
Dog has lost its best form after that injury
Pistilli was content with the run.
Pistilli is one of the most courageous people Ive ever known
He has kept various cancers at bay over the years and keeps fighting on.
He is an inspirational bloke
He might be leaving the industry because of another cancer bout which is impeding him.

so you can have an insight into the first 3 legs of the quaddie
DUTCHYS S/RATE AT WINNING TREBLES IS BETTER THAN MINE

what is going on?
are they thrashing tired dogs because of the lack of numbers.
also a side issue on quality.
i know tracks play differently in seasons but i,ve done a few averages.
2004 all races 30.37
2005 all races 30.29
2006 all races 30.42
2007 all races so far 30.61
plus an increase of 21% in injury time.
