ANGLE PARK 22/5/07 - DAY MEETING

well here we go for an afternoon at ANGLE PARK, we can spend the night on Hanson Rd and then butter up for wednesday morning..........

its a fairly open meeting with a few chances in each race

race 1 - lots of early pace in this race

the red has 2 wins from 3 starts and could be right in the race with a good start - $8
3 - does like it close to the fence,, but is only a 30:70 dog - $10
4 - is a consistent 30:70 dog and could place - $10
5 - is a weak aniMAL, good early pace, could lead but expect it to miss money - $8
6 this is my pick in the race - $2.40

race 2 -
the red can be placed from the good draw - $4
3 won a day meeting on a wednesday 3 starts ago LAW, could land in front - $3
6 runs on for a place - $6
8 has gone well over the short trips at strath and may have early pace to lead - $6

race 3 -
2 isnt the best beginner but runs on and can run a place - $5
8 looks a PLACE special, hasnt missed a place in its last 6 or so starts, cant win though - $4.50

race 4
2 place best - $8
4 place only - $12
5 has began nicely its last 2 and with a similar start will LAW - $1.80

race 5
the 3 was impressive at its first start here, but has had little luck in its past 2, this is easier. - $2.40
4 can be placed the kennel is on fire - $4.50
the 7, a kennel-mate to the 3, it can be right in the finish - $3.50

race 6 - 600m

the 2 can be placed, went well at its only start at T/D - $2.40
the 4 ran a good time at strath last start - $4
the 7 at good e/w odds can be placed - $8

race 7 - 600m

the 2 stepping up in distance, but has ok form to figure - $4.50
the 3 has 4 starts with 4 placings t/d, down in grade on its past couple at the distance, will be hard to beat. - $2.40
7 from the kennel on fire also looks hard to beat - $3.40

race 8
another race with a few chances,
the red would be hard to beat if it leads - $4
the 2 won last wednesday and could be a chance to figure in multi's - $5.50
the 4 has 6 starts for 5 placings at t/d, must put it in quinella and exacta - $3.40
the 5,6 can place at best - both $8

race 9

interesting event the mix 1/2/3

the red has a good chance from the draw. - $2.80
the 2 from the Jovanovic kennel has won 3 of its last 4 will be fav and very very hard to beat - $1.70
4 can win but a place chance - $5
the 5 if it begins well can win, but would need to be in the first 3 going into the back straight - $5

race 10

1 place only - $10
5 is my top pick - $2.40
8 ?? should be running on hard at the end - $5

race 11

the red looks a special - $2.40 followed by the kennel-mate the 2 - $3.40

3 should run on - $8
7 looks a good dog to figure in first 4's for 2nd/3rd and 4th - $6
