Harold Park Preview 25/5/07

Race 1 - 1 or 10 will win from 2,3 + 8... 10 is going massive but gate 10 makes it tough esp. if the 1 leads as expected.
Race 2 - 2 back from 2 runs in Vic and beaten as $1.40 pop last HP run but from the draw looks hard to beat (Rated $2.50 fav). 1,4 + 8 are the dangers.
Race 3 - Hard to split 1 + 7. 1($5.00) will take a sit whilst the 7($3.20) is going SUPER at the moment but not sure where it will be in run although does have great gate speed, either WILL be in the finish. 9 is back to its best as well but better suited from the front row whilst the 3 is also a chance. THE 2 will win a race at huge odds soon but place best in this.
Race 4 - A small field of 7 with all runners going well at the moment but No. 3 Home Of Jack looks a class above these. 3rd run back from a spell should see him cherry ripe to win this. Beaten 9m of a 30m handicap 1st up then a certainty beaten last start, getting boxed in at Maitland.
Should win ($2.80 Fav) with 1,4 + 7 as dangers with a watch on 2,5 + 6 for future races as they have all won at big odds recently and are going super.
Race 5 - Limited chances here. 2 will be hoping to hold the lead here and if does will be the one to beat ($3.20 fav) from the 5 +6 both about $4.00. 3 is the other winning chance ($6.00). Place chance to 9.
Race 6 - 3 heats for this final were run last week with the winners all drawn the 2nd row. Of these the 12 horse Ronny Rama looks clearly the best horse in the race and will still win despite the draw (Rated $2.80). can do it tough and make his own luck where as all others will be driven for luck. Dangers...2,3 + 4.
Race 7 - Very open race with all horses racing well and with the better horses drawn awkwardly anything could win.
Race 8 - TROTTERS.... ENOUGH SAID GOOD LUCK..

Anyone brave enough to put up a preview for Harold Park is mad....
I have given up watching or punting on NSW Harness Racing - too many terrible drivers and not enough good horses..
as proven by the fact that G Douglas goes up with horses that can't win at Mildura / Nyah and other shit tracks and gets winners all the time...
Good Luck - but usually up there. you'll need it!
