The End Of The Rainbow WOULD HAVE WON Except for the Incompetent drive (see SCDs earlier post on this matter)
I Lost $200 on this as well as my hair as i was ripping it out watching it get slaughtered by the driver P. ButterworthLESS :butthead: :butthead:

I was RIGHT in saying that Little Dreamer would Beat home The Juggernaut Bcos it DID, Just the small matter that it lost on Protest (Another $300 down the drain) :x :x :x

I think you know my thoughts on the drive on The End of the Rainbow... FFS.. what a joke!!

Now - I must admit I had 3 horses in my quaddie (5,6,10), so didn't care which way the protest went... but I did thought it would be dismissed. My feeling was that Little Dreamer was holding The Juggernaut at the time contact happened and it didn't effect that result... BUT... the Hill's have a very poor record and Buttergig has a great record in protests generally speaking.. If you feel as though the stewards are having a negative effect on racing - then it's best not to spend up big JJ.. I understand where you're coming from

Not one person I have talked to agrees with the protest upheld.
David Harding bluffed them by appearing to nearly fall off the cart on impact
JJ you were right , the stewards got it wrong
I actually didnt bother for the protest result expecting it to be dismissed

SORRY MAL, you probably didn't deserve to lose it, but david harding stole it, and wayne hill threw the race to him. now let me explain that, the leader was flat out, david jumped around, and pulled his horse almost to a stop. at the same time wayne hill never stopped to straighten his horse, kept bashing it with the whip, and made it stop and turn it up, 12/10 david, 1/10 wayne(1 was only for wearing the correct colours). but in my opinion david wasn't going to get there, so he took advantage, and profited.

well what we dont know is what happened in the stewards room but from what we saw dk 'bluffed' them beautifully, & with what was said already, if hill momentarily look to straighten his horse it would've kept the race

dk 15/10
w/h 3/10

i'd give him more than the 1/10 as he did kick through & held out the malgganaut when he came around, that part of the race hill deserves credit for being alert but up the straight no so smart

who remembers the festival summer-corfu protest some 20+ years ago ?, they turned for home side by side on the (inside) fence & finished side by side on the (outside) fence this protest was dismissed, ps i backed the winner thought the protest (as did everyone) would be upheld so i backed the protest to be upheld & ended up losing on the race, i believe a protest wasn't upheld for at least 15 years after that race
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I believe the Trotting game is going to the DOGS if not gone already.

And they should run under the same rules - ANYTHING GOES. (No Protests in dogs) ((only good thing about them))

WHAT ABOUT THE FACT DOGS DON'T HAVE UN EDUCATED IDIOT'S STEERING THEM? if the horses at the trots ran around by them self we'd have different results.

that is true with a fair few of them, with these drivers i refuse to put my 'hard earned' on & if i think a horse will or could win but has a driver i wont bet on i stay out as more times than not it (the horse) gets slaughtered, eg, i wont back gina bell, john crawford, robert mackay, dean giradi & there is a few more of them as well

i also remember when john tee was calling at port pirie (yeah ages ago) that there was a horse that lost the pilot & the horse got up to & easily slotted into the 1 by 1. the horse did better by itself
