they get sokyola over hear to race in a 'farewell race'
they open up the gates for free, to entice a good crowd

now this is a great iniative BUT why have it on race 2 ? :? :? :? why wouldn't you make it around races 6,7 or 8 so people can make a night of it,

preview on this thread later
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

R2 is an easy answer Bayman...

Crows play at 7:15pm - which would take away from people coming to Globe + get the kids out and off to bed also, R2 ensures the biggest crowd possible and free entry is a big well done...
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

gdp sat,

r1 8 e/w from 1,4,7
r2 10 should win but i wouldn't back it at less than 1/2, jimmy said he thought dammarrell would go up 1/5 TOO SHORT, dangers 6,9 then 1,7,8
r3 8,9 on top from 10
r4 1 an e/w special from 3,5,6,8
r5 8 on top e/w from 1,7,12,13
r6 3,6,7,10
r7 6 on top from 9 then 3,4
r8 10 an e/w special (if you can get e/w) from 1,4,5,8,9
r9 4 a moral (rated 1/4 & that is generous) from 3 & for third either 2,5
r10 5 or 6 will win, i like 5 as 6 is a risky conveyance next best is 3

suggested bet(s)
r4 no 1 e/w
r8 no 10 e/w
r9 no 4 win
r10 no 5 place

MALfair lay
r3 no 2 if its less than 6/1 LAY

good luck on the punt

i wouldn't think that'd come into it as if your going out & for most its at least a 20 minute drive you wouldn't go out for one race & go home & watch the footy & being a saturday the kids can stay up later anyway & of course there is a few tv's out there to watch the footy anyway

HARNESS HARP
---------------

PERFECT LIGNUM
-----------------

Driven inadequately friday night and had a very hard run.
Question now is can it back up Monday, might be a bit jaded ?

GRAMMEL SERIES DINNER
-------------------------

Sunday evening
Host the accurate one Jimmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeh Jaques
$ 20 Smorgasboard
Thats very good value
Pre book dinner, must book on course or phone the course

LARACHELLE AND BULLDOG TYLER
--------------------------------

Sensational LARACHELLE won again in Melb yesterday and blitzed
the opponents in an awesome display, there is no stopping this budding superstar.
Just a reminder of the MAL blackbooker BULLDOG TYLER who nearly ran down the
champ at its last run in SA.....BT hoof on the till I suggest.

SOKYOLA
-----------

Trotting expert Adam Hamilton has said thet SOKYOLA is only about 1/2 as good as it used to be.
Local expert Figmal suggests its 2 and a half times better than tonights opposition.
Unless ZERRAFOS is ready, the champ should win
For MALS phantom call go to the Sokyola post in this forum

LATE MAL
--------------

R3 ANY2 8/9
[8] DEEP POCKETS[$2-70] is now fully fit from an undisclosed injury and big 2nd last run
[9] BAD BOY NITRO[$3-30] is an iron horse and is there a more courageous horse going around ?
Suggest both roved in your trifectas.
ROVE

R9-4 LEND US A SCORE [$1-40]
The $1-40 is a luxury I expect the $1-20 as BAYMAN previewed
Trialled brilliantly, is undefeated and likely to win this easily.
WIN

R10-5 SAVE A SIXPENCE [$2-10]
Very impressive interstate trotter
[6] LA MOSCA [$2] is favoured by all the media experts to win the race
With 2 divs perhaps SAS might be say $2-50 + $1-60 and be a good EW bet
EW

Good luck go SOKYOLA or ZERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAFOS

Dutchy - have done my preview... couple of races I don't like tonight - especially the trotters races!!

R1 - 1 and 2 should cook each other early, making 7 e/w special from 1,2,5,8,9
R2 - I've said enough about this race - I won't be betting on it at all.... unless Sokyola gets out to about $1.90 or so and that's not likely...
R3 - Unique Babe cost me a fortune last week.. so not betting on this race.. 1,2,9,10 the main winning hopes
R4 - Trotters.. I better pick a few for the first leg of quaddie - making 1,3,5,7,11 the main hopes
R5 - more trotters.. 2230m.. I usually look for frontmarkers here but they are all no good, so 7,10,13 the main ones (8 is a handicapped certainty not to win!!)
R6 - 3 should lead.. hardest to beat from 6 and 10 place hopes to 1,4,7
R7 - even more stupid trotters.. with 2 leading and running along.. I can see 7 just winning by a long way from 4,6,8 and 2,9 the only other place hopes
R8 - 1,5,7,9,10 the ones in a race that doesn't belong on a saturday night
R9 - 4 the best bet of the weekend (better then the 2 that won at Pirie last night) from 1 and 3 and field third
R10 - more bloody trotters.. 5 and 6 should quin and race with 3 third...

Suggested Bets
R1 - 7 e/w
R7 - 7 e/w
R9 - 4 w
R10 - 5+6 quin
