AFL ROUND 12 + SANFL ROUND 11 DISCUSSION

Postby mal » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:20 pm

MAL ODDS only and only as a guide for discussion as per usual

CA 3-20
HW $1-33

KA $1-85
AC $1-85

WB $1-50
FR $2-50

GE $1-15
BL $5-25

PP $1-80
ES $2-00
___________________________________________________________________________
RI $3-20
ML $1-33 I PREDICTED THEY WOULD COME GOOD 2 ROUNDS AGO [2 WINS]

SS $1-40
CO $2-75

WC $0-99
SK $7-00

ST
PA

NA
EG

GL
WA

SA
CD

The 2 suggested MALbets last week
WC lose to ES
SS beat HW
About even
I didnt make WC a footy mal as have a poor record at TELSTRA DOOM
I think they have about a 33% win ratio on the skating rink

I am sure if we back WC we win win v Faint Kilda
Anything over $1-25 would be a gift.
ML look winners
GE would be $0-99 but for travelling a few times of late
WB are going to be short, that game worries me as WB again lost
the 2nd half in Brisbane and are travelling back

*********THE LAST 3 GAMES ARE ON A SPLIT ROUND*************

MAL oh mighty one, may I enquire as to how or why you would have Port Power favourite over the vastly better performed Essendon. May I suggest you look at the past month's form.

that would depend on which glenelg team turned up, the one that played norwood would lose & the one that played north today would win easily, bear in mind there was more than a few bay players slightly injured & a concussion today so there could be some outs especially given a short week
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Once again I have to bow down and salute the mighty MAL, even though he tipped the same sides that I did and had no idea about the Tennis. Agreed that Essendon may have been a bit lucky of late but at least they have been in a position against good sides to ride their luck.
My point is keep tipping the Power for the rest of the year and see how your pocket and your reputation hold up. :butthead: :butthead:

Sturt @ $1.80 has to be a great bet surely?...Port a rabble and Sturt on a roll...only chance is a let down however they have been straved of success for so long this may stop it happening

You can get $1.35 win and -25.5 for evens on Sportsbet for the Bays...also tempting

some nice differences in the markets between books which is nice instead of following each other....as usual Seal's mod has NFI

So revised market
WB $1-90
FR $1-90

WB have been stopping at the end of thier games and may be suspect
if FR stay with them in the early stages

WWT at 1-39 $3.20 has to be overs doesn't it? They have some handy ins including Cicca & Inkster and my opinion looking at the two teams head to head has the Eagles the stronger side. For what I think could be a close 50/50 result $3.20 is worth a dabble.....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

AG reckons WCP is the man....lets wait for AG's call.....

Thanks for your thoughts WCP, tend to agree...but dont know if I can bring myself to put money on this game, their form lines have been very erratic!

the crows have won the last 5 against the Gold Coast Roos, but things have changed dramatically since the last clash, go the roos!!!!

tonights game with the hawks/blues should be a close game, nothing really separates these 2 on the stats, but expect the hawks to win, just with over-all talent, but not expecting a blowout. maybe both teams under 15.5 pts.

freo and the doggies are the same as the above game, on the stats not much separates them, not really sure who will win this, I think the dogs should, but as MAL has alluded, the dogs have hit the wall in the 2nd half of there games recently......maybe the dockers at +24.5.

port/bombers - can the bombers make it 2 from 2 at footy park, i think they should, port are a rabble, they play one man short, because tredrea runs around but the players very rarely look for him at the moment. the bombers to prove the last 2 wins were no fluke!!!! and should win quite comfortably, maybe a 40+ result
