gawler, as always this is a leaders biased track so bet accordingly.

i'll just take this opportunity to thank the boys on 5rph doing the trotting show yesterday (thursday), i made a denotion & while they didn't have to say it, i was thankful of their appreciation & comments on air which included a plug for this site. thanks tee & trev. i think for those that listen do like the show

r1 1,6,8 with next best 3
r2 1 an e/w special from 4,5,7 then 8,9
r3 4,5,9 with next best 1,3
r4 7 a good thing despite the draw, with main dangers also on the back row 9,10
r5 1,5,8 & a big watch on 10 if any money for it put it in
r6 1 an e/w special from 2 (leader), 8,9 next best 7 & a watch on 10 but from there would need to be popular alm to win
r7 if 1 scores up it'll win, for those at home on computers watch the score up & get on as late as possible, other than that its open 2,3,7,8,10
r8 chances 1,7,8,9,10. there is a query with the pole as last time at gawler from same draw it galloped out & lost all chance, so if your going to back it watch the score up with this as well

suggested bet(s)
r2 no 1 e/w
r4 no 7 win
r6 no 1 e/w

dutchfair lay
r2 no 6 (if its shorter than 6/1 lay as it will be too hard from here)

good luck on the punt
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Bayman - the one thing I miss over here is the Harness show on a Thursday!! the guys do a great job on it and should be congratulated for their commitment and dedication to harness racing in SA - well done to all the people involved!!!

No suggested Bets - not until I've found a bit more form in tipping some winners… I've been a disgrace the last couple of weeks.... but hopefully about to hit back into some form..

R1 - 7 e/w special (think 1 will lead) from 1,5,6,8,9
R2 - 9 a good thing?? Nah I'm only kidding (wish she can just run money!!) The 1 should win - but past him - this is an open race and really only the 2 and 3 can't be placed
R3 - 5 a clear on top from 3,9 and then 2,4,6,7,10
R4 - 7 a moral (3rd run back - should be at it's top) from 5,10 then maybe 6,8
R5 - 8 and 10 on top from 1 and then 2,4,5,9
R6 - 2 will lead.. so really 2 - 1 - field or 2 - 1 - 7 in trifectas.. Maybe take a saver of 1 - 2 - 7 of 1- 2 field??
R7 - I bet the 4 will be in the breeze, it's the only way she knows how to drive... I think that makes the 3 an e/w special from 1,7,8,10 and that's about it.. (Bayman.. be very very careful on the 1 - i'm not confident on the change of stables, Wayne Gowley doesn't get many winners - but I have a feeling he may be getting some help at the moment......)
R8 - 2 and 9 on top of 1 and 8 and maybe 7 a place...
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

LATE MAL
---------

R2-1 AMBRO VENTURE [$3]
Be vying for lead or 3rd on the pegs
looks a resonably safe ew bet
[9] SCD CHILLI wait for a better draw :-k
[1]EW

R6-2 PREMIER HOLMES [$3-80]
beautifully drawn to lead and be extemely hard to catch with a cheap run
now had 3 runs from a spell and looks another safe ew bet
[1] SCENE DREAM will get a gorgeous run behind PH and a chance
[9] DANCE THE BREEZE best nag but terrible draw
[10] FLYIN LAD scares me, has Hryhorec driving but barrier 10 over 1750m ???
[2] EW

A tough meeting quite a few chances in most races

HARNESS HARP
---------------

BAYMAN + 5RPH
----------------

Set the alarm and listened to the most inFORMative gambling show in SA
As mentioned by BAYMAN/SCD the guys on this show do a great coverage
of the SA harness racing.
Tee
Tracky
DB
These 3 guys do this show out of love, and I am just amazed at the thoroughness
of the show in relaying vital racing inFORMation, gear changes, industry chatter etc.
Great show, and great guys running the show

Now for the big news , squeezing 20 cents out of BAYMAN is an achievement
However our BAYMAN donated $50 to the radioathon
$50
and
will make it $100 if Glenelg beat Sturt this week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Makes my $20 donation look shameful. :(

HOLLYWOOD HARDING
---------------------------------------

Amazing stuff last friday night
Hollywood Dave Harding was at the provincial VIC meeting at Mildura
He drove R6-10 KING CEASER in a race which started at 3-19 pm
KC ran 3rd
Hollywood Harding, a champion harness driver must also be a great car driver as well
At 9-35 at Globe Derby the same night he drove ELYSSES CREST which won.

Lets work this out

MILDURA at 3-19 driving
Globe derby at 9-35 driving

thats a fair effort. [how long from Mildura to GDP ?]

Has any driver won in 2 different states in a calender day ?????
HARDING drove a placegetter and a winner at 2 different meetings on THAT calender day

FINALLY
---------

Finally has finally been claimed ? By the Smiths ? for $ ?
I know some other smarties considered buying this pacer.

Good luck on the punt, and go the Bays for a ton outa Baymans DEEP POCKETS.

Spoggy if he leaves at 3-40 he arrives at Gawler at 8-00
he gets on course at 8-05
he rings bayman/mal for driving instructions and tips makes it 8-30
[our instructions for Elysses Crest were dont fall out the cart]
has a piss, has a meal = 8-40
gets dressed in his c0lours = 8-50
miscallenous activites of say 10 minutes etc = 9-00
gives him about 20 minutes before the horse gets into the parade ring.
0r
45 minutes if he dosent ring Bayman/Mal

Pity he didnt [?] win a race at Mildura the same day for a 2 state double

mal, that is nothing, brian gath has driven a double on the same night, the first was at harold park & the 2nd at moonee valley & yes folks it was on the same night. i dont know if anyone else has done it but brian gath has for sure & certain, i'm sure some victorian drivers would have won races during the day in victoria & got the plane & won in adelaide or sydney that night

There is a word limit, i added her anyway.

also added courtney wise

who showed she has the qualities required to drive in many races without winning ala j crawford style.

whoever programmed the meeting is also almost on the list as well

Why on one of the worst if not the worst leader biased track in Australia would you run 8 out of 9 short distance races.

Mal,
Didn't D Harding drive Petria in last race at mildura last fri.
He had 4 1/2 hours from petria's race to elsyees crest race. He jumped straight in car and headed back to drive elsyees crest. It was a southern cross heat which means its in a 30k final now so worth charging back for. Not much different to what many drivers do in victoria all the time.

Sorry bayman been too busy to get on comp.
Had a winning night so might be telling me something.
Finally landed a all up. (well over due) \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Come on robber, Great track gawler!!!!!!!!!!!
What about when clowns start rebuilding GDP will be racing at Gaw 3 times a week some weeks.!!!!!!!
