attention mal & dutchy re sportsbet

Postby bayman » Sat Jun 30, 2007 1:16 am

reading sportsbeat tonight there is an article on how sportsbet started betting on the sanfl. (page 14)

THE KICKED VIC

whatever happened to sturt's stephen white - a key forward who, on his day was just about unstoppable ?

(i'll go to the interesting point)

the big fella is kicking goals for darwin sportsbet. his knowledge of football & the sanfl, in particular, is being put to great use when setting the markets.
stephen reckons that 'for too long the sanfl has been neglected" (whatabout thornton & seal) & he was largely resposible for sportsbet opening markets on the sanfl premiership & head to head betting.
not surprisingly he thinks sturt is a good thing against glenelg at the adelaide oval tomorrow (sat).
'whitey' wants to see even more betting options on sa football & he plans to open a market on the magarey medal soon.
i doubt anyone at sportsbet is going to argue with him. this bloke looks like he could kick a vic a mile!!!
brian mannix

so boys its us versus s.white

& i'll back us

Sportsbeat are putting in the odds from Sportsbet in thier publication.
And no doubt Johnny Spoungbet will follow him.

Jeremy Clayton $18-00 :butthead: :butthead: :butthead:
Goodrem $61 is the only mistake I could find, surely thats a misprint for $601
Very professional market

Ironical I had thought that some players changed thier names after
looking at Johnny Spoungebets markets

ALLAWAY
IVANS
DRACACEVIC

But good to see the professional outfits,
Complete Sports + Sportsbet have thier names spelt correctly
As does the Advertiser the Footy Budget ......

Would be good in White came on here for some banter during the week regarding the markets etc....we know the other bookies read this but dont comment, why not have some chat witht he punters....good friendly banter between punters and bookie would be great!!!

Surely we all have SPortsbet accounts now that they offer Game, Premiership and Magarey Markets??

Rumour - Whos the punter on this site who was ringing around trying to find a mate who had a Sportsbet account so he could get on at $2.90 for North last week????

Surely not! Just because Centrals won so easily, doesn't mean that Norwood didn't have some chance going into the game.

Centrals true odds were much closer to $1.37 than NA were to $3.05.

Plus, it was almost impossible to lay off on Norwood later and still guarantee a profit, while this was easily done with North-South.
Plus, you would have needed to outlay much more to make the same profit from Centrals, than from North.

Mr Statsman
$1-37 for $1-10 favourites is about triple the odds bet
$2-90 FOR $1-70 favourites is about triple the odds as well
