AIS v MELBOURNE PHOENIX

Melbourne are second flag favorites at $2.60, AIS aren't even on the boards. Enough said. The AIS kids will try hard, but simply aren't in the class of Melbourne, who have far too many big guns to be contained.

TIP: MELBOURNE 23-25

SUGGEST: MELB at -16.5, GAME SCORE under 104.5

ADEL V MELBOURNE KESTRELS

The T-Birds are entering extremely dangerous territory at present, dropping some very winnable games this year to stare at their worst losing record in their history. The week to freshen up after the Test series will certainly help them, but they really need big games up forward from Medhurst and Hughes. I keep thinking the Kestrels look real value in this one, and it will be a lot closer than UNITAB seems to think, but Adel JUST at home.

TIP: Adelaide 1-3

SUGGEST: MELB at +7.5, GAME SCORE under 104.5

HUNTER v QUEENSLAND

Queensland are the only of these two still in finals contention, but the loss to a knee reco of Carla Dziwoki last week is a massive blow to their campaign. It places a huge load on Jo Morgan's shoulders in the goal circle, who will need 45+, I reckon, to get them over the line. Hunter coach Jon Fletcher will be awake to this and try and drag her up the circle; I think the Jaegers can smell the upset here also.

TIP: HUNTER 3-5

SUGGEST: Hunter straight out and at points, GAME SCORE over 104.5

PERTH v SYDNEY

Some Perth fans will think they are a real chance in this, but the opening whistle will end that ambition. Simply, Sydney will be too strong, too classy, too many options, despite going across the country for this one.

TIP: SYDNEY 17-19

Suggest: Sydney at -16.5, GAME SCORE over 101.5

Not the greatest weekend again, however, some wins in there with Sydney at points, Hunter at points.

Will be backing up next week, but not sure if will do full length previews, doesn't seem a lot of interest.
