FootyQuad Jackpot

Postby jackpot jim » Sat Aug 04, 2007 2:50 am

Theres a FootyQuad Jackpot on SuperTab today with a carryover of $146,500.50 from Round 17.
The 4 matches are .....
Carlton V Collingwood
Brisbane V Kangaroos
Crows V Power
Hawthorn V Essendon

Need to pick winners and margins in 12 point ranges up 73+

I'm Loading up Big on this bet as i need to recover from Fridays QuarterQuad Jackpot as i got slaughtered Bcos of the DRAW between the Bulldogs and St.Kilda.
Ironically, on one ticket i had, i had the Draw at 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 time but not at Fulltime. DOH! WADH i am.
SCD, How did u go on this one as i know u love to have a go at them every week??????????

Anybody else out there having a crack at the Quad??????? Any thoughts on ranges i should take???????????

Collingwood 25-73+
Brisbane 1-48, Kangaroos 1-24
Power 1-48
Hawthorn 1-60

Cost - $300

I'm going in a syndicate with a few others and spending a lot more than that and taking 5 - 6 tickets.
Above selections are just an indication of what we're working around.

I'm pretty sure that you CAN'T have Flexi bets on the Footy multis which makes it Expensive to the smaller punters to have a realistic chance of collecting BUT the rewards are Great if you do.

Talking about Footy trebles, Yes we did often Donate as West Adelaide were always our BOGIE side in trebles as their Form reversals from week to week were mind boggling at times.

I Remember one day i think Glenelg and west were tied with seconds Remaining and we needed Glenelg to Win. Ross Gibbs got a free and then a Fifty metre penalty or a couple of 15s (whatever they were back then). Being the CLOWN that he was, as he was running down the ground to the new Mark to have a set shot he was Punching the Air celebrating the win he thought he was going to give them.
Yep, you guessed it, the CLOWN kicked it out on the FULL. WADH!!! It was a draw and we lost again.
PS. When he went to Victor Harbor to play footy in the GSFL, I was a Goal umpire for another club and he was one of the Best kicks for Goal i have seen. Victor were such a dominant team in that era that he rarely had to venture out more than 30 - 40 metres from goal But he just never seemed to miss no matter what angle he was on or how windy it was. PRICK.

Collingwood 1-36
Kangas 1-36, Bris 1-24
Port 1 - 24, 37-48, Adel 1 - 24
Hawks 1- 36, Dons 1 - 24...

Just looking for some close games now for a result.. go you roos and crows tonight..
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Not too much. Took 5 tickets and 2 are still alive. as mentioned, the above margins were only an rough indication.
Last match have Hawthorn 1 - 60 and essendon 1 -24 on 1 ticket and Hawth 1 - 48, Ess 1 -24 on the other.
Hard to judge what sort of dividend to expect with no real Big upset margins so far but hoping for a small profit.

PS. With the Draw Friday night, those with W.A. Tab accounts will be able to load up next week on the Tip 8,11 +12 Jackpots next week.

Correction - OUCH!!!!! Yes the Collingwood 24 pt Margin DID Hurt us as Hawthorn Smashed the PATHECIC Bombers by 63 pts. Had the Hawks to 60 with collingwood 24 But if Collingwood won by 25 we would have got it as on that ticket we had Hawthorn 1 - 73+.

FOOTY SUCKS some days. A point here, 3 points there, its a fine line when betting on footy but thats life and we will Stitch up our DEEP Wounds and hopefully Rebound next week.
