HEATS OF THE COCA-COLA DERBY are on today

the last 2 wednesdays have been very profitable, but this looks slightly tougher.......

RACE 1 - tough event to start with

4 has a good chance, would like this to be on the bunny
6 is the main chance

RACE 2
1 should improve off its debut run
2 made up good ground last week in same race as the 1, the time was slow
4,6 are 1st starters
5 had a qualy at strath, time was ok, nothing flash

RACE 3
1 same litter as r2 - 4 and the litter bro is racing in a heat of the derby, the litter look promising, but this is a different trainer to the one in the heat.....
3 PLACE special - on paper it looks like it HAS to win, but im sure it will find a way to get beat
6 is a litter sister to r2 - 6

RACE 4
1 3rd at best
2 weak - but place chance as has good early pace
3 watch tote but id be risking
4 consistent, just a bit of luck and will win
5 going ok up north
8 won last start in slow time at big odds

race 5
1 - been backing this dog for a place on wednesdays at the melbourne meeting and hasnt been letting me down - 9 starts 8 placings
3 went good 4 starts ago need a repeat to figure
5 interstate risk
6 won here in good time 13 days ago, chance
7 risk but watch tote
8 must include

race 6
2 just wins
3 down grade
4 goes ok t/d but needs to improve time
6 looks 2nd pick
8 looks 3rd in line

RACE 7
2 major player here
3 place best
6 looks the other major chance
7 place at best
8 vic dog RISK

race 8

1 drawn to figure
2 has ability
3 major chance cant miss money
7 risk winning but can place

RACE 9
1 can lead or be in the first couple early
2 give another chance but need $8 or so to back it
5 always around the mark, bit of luck and can win

RACE 10
2 F4 chance
4 is around the mark
5 big chance here
8 down in grade a NSW visitor

plus ill take them in doubles

an astute punter, who reads this forum, but doesnt post had an all up not too long ago and was desperately unlucky not to collect big bikkies. he took an all up over 4 races all winning and the 4th ended up running 3rd, and didnt get rewarded for a $13 winner he had, and i looked at my recent records of all ups and noticed there was generally one that would miss out and I have started taking the doubles, sure it costs a little more, but when they come in, you get it back plus interest.

hopefully the astute young punter will log in one day and give us a preview of AG.......

and stop filling up his wallet with the LATE MALS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Afternoon MT79,
Had another all up today. Put 10 on the winners of races 5,6,7,8 and yes it happened again. Had 140 going onto that bloody Bate dog in the 8th and it gets F*&@n rolled. Well thatll teach me to never bet on a dog race again. Not sure how that 4 dog, thats just had a spell and won only 1 from 5 can get up at $33. So annoying!! Might start making an input here soon!!
