I don't quite know where to post this, but that wonderful mare, Second To Nun, died whilst spelling on Monday.
I had a small share in her as did many of my friends and we are totally devastated.
She won numerous races including the Strathalbyn Cup, the Vintage at Oakbank and got black type when she won the Leon McDonald Stakes.

Mate's horse is running Cranbourne R10 today at juicy odds #10 Chakado. There is a very short priced fave in the race with D Lane steering it, so it is definitely up against it. Having said that, if it doesn't get too far back (as it tends to do) it may just be rattling home.
