Replay is a good watch. Storming, held up, storms again. Impressive.

When he jumped, I was very happy with his position, as he likes to take a sit, then peel and go. However, when Rawiller eased him right to the rear of the field, I was a little bewildered. At the 400 he was still last but travelling well, at the 100 he was still last but really wound up and the rest is history.

The stable was very keen to have Rawiller onboard once we knew our stable jockey, Jake Toeroek, was unavailable.

Odds staggered me to be honest after our trial with Air Assault during the week.

SRM
Bubbles to win
Princess Que top 3
Angle Torque Top 3

$52.50 (Power Played)

I couldn't believe them odd's.

I get that, however $50 on the tri gets me about $950-$1000 back, $50 on the SRM netted me over $2,600.

I guess it's just the flexibility/security of Bubbles running 1,2 or 3, with that being said he doesn't win my SRM is done and the Tri pays far less.

I'm very happy with the outcome.

$50 on the tri gets you $3125

Edit. I thought reading your original post that Bubbles had to win.

Weekend Update: With forecasted high temperatures for Saturday, RV is currently monitoring conditions and will decide tomorrow whether the Caulfield race times are brought forward to facilitate an earlier start and finish. This decision will be made alongside race times for Great Western and Yea when acceptances for those meetings close tomorrow.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
