the strath debacle...update

Postby bayman » Sat Dec 15, 2007 2:29 pm

i know that some trainers are very unhappy with what has happened with strath this week

the strath club rang up trainers to nominate their horses & the same trainers are very upset that the CLUB called off the meeting & these horses missed out on runs, infact one trainer told me "that if they ever run there again he will not go"
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

That trainers an idiot and I doubt will be a big loss. they were called off tuesday so he could of nominated for friday or monday and ran then. If they were going to strath they wouldnt of been allowed in the gate saturday night so that shouldnt worry them. Furthermore at least this way he could plot the future of what i bet is a star studded team earlier rather than waiting for the meeting to be called off when they couldnt get fields.

Why would the trainers be upset with Club? I assume they called the meeting off due to lack of Noms so they should be crapped off with other trainers for not supporting the meeting, NOT the club who i Believe bend over backwards to get these meetings put on.

from what i could gather the club called it off early tuesday before waiting to see if the noms were good enough one trainer was unhappy because he trained his horse around running on sunday & reckons his horse would have bolted in the first on friday if he wasn't stuffed around, he trains like mal wants them too having breaks between runs
