the bookie can not be in 2 places at once

well today (& apparently it happens everyweek) peter dammarrell packed up after the 2nd last & left for the dogs, now i realise he can not be at both tracks at the same time but surely the trots could start a half hour or so earlier to avoid this overlap of meetings
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Why the **** cant he be at 2 places at once ?
The last Strath Trots meeting way back whenever it was, he had 2 stands, 1 in the main betting ring and 1 down near the stables. Surely its not that hard for him to organise someone to man one of the boards at either the dogs or the trots without him but then again at least he's there for the 1st 7 races when No other bookie is prepared to be.

Also Bayman, I think that there are more important issues that dictate what times the Trots are run than programming them to work around 1 Bookmaker.
I think Sky Channel would probably have a fair say in the matter.

i know we are talking about the bookie etc, but commonsense is SKY CHANNEL who TELL the clubs when each of the races are to be run

sorry for the tangent

if Dammerrell was serious about both he would set up at both places, but is probably trying to save wages as his turnover may not warrant being there.
