some of the 'smarties' on track today told me of this abnomoly that happened at the nz dogs at palmerston north in race 1

the scenario
pools
win $389.00
place $1657.00

favourite ran at $2.10 win & $12.50 place & ran 2nd while every other dog in the race ran between $1.90 & $2.10 on the place tote with 3 divs

the likely possibility is a punter had $200.00 a place on dogs 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 spending $1400.00 & at least a certain $400.00 in return,

then had a big bet on a sportsbet or similar account on the 8 dog & got the $12.50

so lets say he did this
tab spent $1400.00 collect $820.00
s/bet spent $500.00 collect $6250.00

total invested $1900.00
total collected $7070.00
total profit $5170.00

NOT A BAD DAY ON THE PUNT, BUT ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE NZ FORM, PERHAPS MAL OR DUTCHY HAS POUNCED

the 'thrilling' dogs in NZ do quite well

im sure BB may have been the punter in question as he has put up NZ tips previously!!!!!!!!!

only 50c on the trifecta, you would be shattered at the divvie looking at the results without checking pools.....

there was a syndicate a few years ago now who did the same thing via phone account which has been mentioned before

they won on an Albion Pk Race and wanted to re-invest into the next race in Tassie but werent allowed on........

now we just have to watch the NZ pools to see if this happens again.......

NZ start that early that is why nothing in the pools... most pub tabs arent open..... surely sportsbet dont allow those odds to be matched..... if they did you could manipulate the pools easily as someone has obviously done.... great spot up bayman.....

no it doesn't sportsbet for dogs & trots pay home tote (it pays the tote div from your home state or territory) for gallops you can have a choice of totes

& by all accounts it happened again today well at least that's what centreman told me at the cricket
