I cant change my tip before the game started when Essendon decide to field a Junior team instead of a half decent team yet PUNK ROOSTER can leave his tips til late. No point getting tips in early might as well wait til 5 minutes before the ball is bounced.

I didn't have a problem with TWE posting his selections, as the game had not started.
Do you put your bets on the dogs a week in advance?
Chances are you wait to see the fields...

Anyway, Dutchy will make rulings, I will maintain records, so whatever Dutchy decides is law.

Also thought there was a 12noon Saturday time limit. But if the rule is AS LONG AS TIP IS IN BEFORE GAME HAS STARTED then thats fine. BUT if so why cant a tip be changed before the game starts IF certain players are out injured etc.

Rules
Some small changes from last year. This year you will still have 3 units per week to bet with however you can use them over 3 bets, not 2. You can use them all in 1 bet of 3 Units or seperate them into 2 or 3 bets as long as you dont invest more than 3 units overall. Note no half units.

Prices
To be obtained from http://www.sportsbet.com.au only. Can include SANFL and/or AFL. And the following forms of betting are allowed-

Money Line - To Win
Spread/Line - Points
Margin - 1-39 and 40+ only no other margins will be accepted
No Draws are allowed

Tips for round are to be rec'd by 12 noon on Saturdays.

- 2 "NO BET" rounds are available - this could work against for or you though, will look to possibly phase this out for next year
- http://www.sportsbet.com.au only and odds posted MUST be available at time of posting

This is a punting comp isn't it? Do sportsbet let you change a bet you get on on a tuesday because the teams aren't to your liking? Doubt it. Rules did state 12 saturday so thats when it should be. As for the changing of your tip don't place your selection till you see the teams.

Alright I did raise this with Punk yesterday but we gave TWE the benefit of the doubt as a once off, however as others posters have protested and are correct in saying that tips need to be in by 12 noon on Saturday we will now stick by this and TWE will now show a loss of 3 units.

Sorry TWE but rules are rules and we are playing for prizes so we need to be stick by them (nice pick by the way, hope you had some on). So in summary -

-Picks must be in by 12 noon on Saturday
-No changing picks once posted (there is skill in grabbing a good early price or waiting for it to drift and then grabbing it)

nah like i said i knew the rules when i posted just thought i might be cut a bit of slack but all good !!!!!!!!!!
just for the sake of it i did tip the dogs and posted 7 winners for this week . just gained some ground on the great man (dutchy) so it was a tip and had some on at a good price (2.85) !!!!!!!!
