THE ANGLE PARK industry forum.

MT79 myself and our mate Mcbird attended the industry forum.

MT79 is preparing a contraversial post but needs to be as concise as possible.

There was a speaker who gatecrashed the forum and was raising
some hard hitting below the belt inuendos against the club.
A bouncer was called in and a scuffle occured amongst several attendees.
The police were also called in later to oversee operations.
The gatecrasher was allowed to continue his vendeta against the club
and against the greyhound hierachy.

Unfortunately i have too many wonderful aquaintences in the hierachy
and also many friends who are owners and trainers.
I need to adopt a nuetral stance in this matter for those reasons.

I can tell you that the administration gave a detailed report into the
financial infrastructure of the greyhound industry and were attempting
to justify the reduction of prizemoney and the decline of the industry
in general financially.

The owners and trainers were vehemently and understandably PERPLEXED
as to how prizemonies are to be reduced by my understanding by 13 %
in the near future.

I will allow MT79 to comment as i do not want to alienate myself as i have
very definite views on the matter as well.

MT79 will bring up this definitive matter in the GENERAL DISCUSSION forum
I think he is checking some factual matter from some 3rd partys before
submitting his views.

Mal,
It wasn't me!
I should've come, sounds like I missed a corker of a forum...
The industry sounds like last rites are about to be read

I cant believe they are going to cut prizemoney, surely you would cut the number of meetings before cutting prizemoney.

I was thinking of getting back into owning dishlickers but I reckon I might put the cue in the rack for the minute and see what occurs.

the main points will be raised in the other forum but prizemoney is dropping 13% and the admin is dropping 1% doesnt seem fair really when without owners and trainers there are no administration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
