the quicker TABCORP take over UNITAB the better...should be no more than 2 pools for the nation, not sure there should be only 1 as that would mean there would be no competition

interesting point- 1 Tote Pool could be worse- they could take out whatever % they liked. Perhaps the Government could legislate a fixed %. Work on say 20%. So a pool of 10,000, $2000 would be "skimmed" for Tax/running costs/industry return. I believe that is the current process. The Government probably legislate current returns anyway.
