Iron man wrote:They went 62.3 and came home in 60.0, whats your problem Chiefy he drove it like a $1.50 fav should be driven. Should never have been $1.50 he led in his last two and it makes a big difference comming from 10. Last time he was in front over 2230 he ran 62.00 and came home in 60.3 AND HE WON - was that a slaughter NO. He almost ran identical sectionals and ran 2nd got beat by a better horse on the day. He didnt run his fist 1/2 in 58 like some other idiot did he ?????? in fact how good is he to run near identical sectionals as he did last win over the same distance.

ITS WHAT YOU CALL BEING CONSISTANT, ISNT THAT WHAT THE PUNTERS WANT ????

The fact you call a 62.3 / 60.00 a slaughter makes no sence at all Chiefy and says alot about your knowledge of racing. Full credit to TAKI MAIA did a good job and deserved the win and to be honest did such a good job i doubt nodogs would have won regardless of how it was driven.

Give credit where credit is due Chiefy.

Difference being previous week was 1800m an drew barrier 1 so was able to lead very easy. Last monday drew barrier 10 over 2230m and was charging around the field in a 45.5 lead time meaning, working much harder over a longer trip.
No need to let it run so far from home after doing the early work.
If he's the best in the state he wouldn't be doing that!!!!!!!!!!
His strike rate says he's NOT the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week the horse was driven the way it should of been last week.
Which is what is expected from a bloke who some on this site rate the best in SA.
Last week was a BBQ, this week a well judged drive.

The BBQ of the day yesterday goes to team Buttigieg. the 2 stablemate burning the first qtr obivously they don't communicate b4 a race.
Then the trainer and his son want to abuse D Harding after the race for going forward to the death then getting 1 by 1 on the back of the winner.
Did i see right? the placing were Dontfencemein, Brother Moon, Frosty Adonis?
with both Buttigieg finishing behind frosty, Why would he have a go at D Harding? Sour grapes? Bad Loser? Can't think why else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
