GALLOPS Saturday 10/06/06

Flemington Race 5: #3 Straight Legs
Flemington Race 7: #2 Stamen
Flemington Race 8: Follow #8 Ruby Trois

Eagle Farm Race 3: #1 Becks
Eagle Farm Race 5: Each way value #2 Leonie Chiara
Eagle Farm Race 6: #1 Belmonte, #2 Kincharm (place value), #14 Loanhead (place), #10 Teppanyaki (SA horse - ran a solid 4th against the favourite last start in Bris - Place value at big odds)
Eagle Farm Race 7: #6 Gee I Jane (very good E/w odds), #12 Hard to Catch, #20 La Montagna, #7 Shania Dane (Due to run well and with Beadman on board!)

Absolute shambles racing in Adelaide this weekend, so tread warily. I like Perce's Race 8 tip at good odds. Always can use something like that. I think I might just have $5 E.W on it though. Adelaide racing tends to drop off now til Spring!

Good luck lads.
Sunny at 28 degrees in the UK, 30 tomoz (sat) I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morphettville Race 5: #2 Bad Boys
Backed this at good odds last year (successfully), looks a reasonable chance in this field.

IF MT79 is going to be creative so will I

CANNINGTON DOGS saturday night
Seeing as if the advertiser is putting in
thier absolutely pathetic fields only
with no selections and markets t least i
will provide some semblance.

r2-5 STUD POKER good beginner but rarely wins.
i recommend ew but more a place.

r5-8 SUPER LAD well drawn in the pink and averages 5-78
to the first turn which is very fast.
I would take $1-50 or better.
The trifecta 8/1/f and 8/f/1 is a fair bet as well.

I wont give a racing preview like MT79 because i know little
about the gallopers[at least i admit it]

good luck all.

Bris Race 3 - Becks won paying $5
Melb Race 5 - Straight Legs won paying $4.60

Im not sure who it was that said that anyone can pick 4 or 5 horses and win, but those two tips were by standouts and I didnt need to give a 2nd or 3rd horse as a possible.

AND In the big 1 at Eagle Farm I tipped Gee I Jane "Very good each way value" It ran 2nd paying $5 for the place. The horse I tipped to run 3rd, actually won paying $11 & $4

Massive problem is I went out for a few beers last night and didnt wake up until 9am UK time, which was well after these races had finished!! SO I didnt get on any of them......Always the way, but hopefully some one else profited from my decent tips.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen & Good night!

mdm,
obviously your having a crack at me i do a preview to help with multiples etc i told you before if you dont like it DONT USE IT now i know mt79 & mal can & do ring me for my opinion (not always right) so if others agree with you i wont put up my opinion as i dont want to upset anyone i tried to help but i dont want a payout in doing so as its easier for me not to than to put it up & i do put up at end my better bets to do (depending what prices they are) so now you guys let me know if you want them up or not as if its upsetting others as well as mdm i wont do it
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Bayman- keep your posts coming in the format that suits you. Your posts keep in the spirit of the forum, & the forum is better for it. You have a niche market, & your style suits punters that go for quinellas/trifectas/doubles/trebles etc...

Maddogmike- if your betting style is to back one or two in a race, that's fine (personally that's the type of punter I am), keep posting your tips. The forum is for the better having different styles of punting, so let's keep the sledging to other matters.

All- if people don't like something in particular, then remember: no-one's forcing you to read it.
Remember, we're all here to make money.
Play on.

THE STABLE IS IN CHAOS?

Here's my 2 bobs worth.

PREVIEWS
------------

It is nice to get an overall concept on a race and assessments
of all winning chances and the place chances as well.
I take lots of place bets, quinellas, exactas, any twos and trifectas.

I tend to give in depth previews at times and include all the chances.
Lets face facts several horses/dogs can win or run a place.

The BAYMAN assesses all the chances in his THOROUGH previews.
The BAYMAN also itemises and isolates his good singular bets as well
and that shows up in the BAYMANS all ups column.

I dont see a problem with all the STABLES posts.

Its quite refreshing to see comments at the various codes, something you
cant find in the ADVERTISER quite often.
The previews done by MT79-BAYMAN-MAL-M/MIKE-DUTCHY-PERCE-BOB
are sometimes SUPERIOR to the so called professional ADVERTISER formguides.

For instance in my preview of STUD POKER i said this dog was a EW chance and a
great place bet but does not win many. It won + paid $7-40 +$2-40
What did the ADVETISER have .......no tips no odds.....just the names of the dogs.

And i have a SPECIAL EXACTA on monday CO 1st ML second !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Play on lads.

*Mal, it's "1st", not "ist"

Bayman I was having a crack at myself, not you. I have grown to like your punting. Some other bloke had a go at my race tips a few weeks ago, when I put top 4 for each race in the forum.

Try not to take me too seriously....

Keep up the good work

God Bless

I think that we should all continue to do the previews in the format that we like and if there are people that dont like it then they dont have to use it.

I make money and good money at that out of BAYMANs thorough previews with his main winning chances and then place chances, they are good for trifecta's and First 4's.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BAYMAN

I also love the 'LATE MAL' on the trots which has disappeared recently because when the 'LATE MAL' and BAYMAN have the same tips in the same races its time to load up on the exotics for more units and make wages.

if people want to have one tip per race then thats good but i like to know what all the chances are!!!!!!1
