THORNTON and SEAL.................

Postby mighty_tiger_79 » Thu Jul 06, 2006 3:10 pm

these bookies, one claims to be one of the biggest in australia and the other well........ the outlet is in his name and he does run it but without the financial stress of losing to BAYMAN!!!!!!

THORNTON is a JOKE as MAL puts it JOKETON. Gone to the Auditorium today to put a bet on and guess what................ the internet prices are a guide only and you cant get a bet on until Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

these 2 bookies are both useless and scum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean until now Thornton was letting people on the SANFL during the week while the SEAL outlet wasnt putting prices up on the board unless you asked at 4pm friday arvo...........

they are supposed to be professional but nothing these two idiots do is anything near professional, they need to have a good hard look at how they operate their business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i wonder how much interest Seal has made by not paying out on Lucy's Light, the only betting agency not to pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all due respect SEAL has always bet on the SANFL on fridays only
and it was one occasion where you could not get on early friday.
There is a restricted service on the SANFL by Seal as they will not
put prices up until Fridays team line ups become apparent.
This has been a CONSISTENT betting thing by SEAL from day one.

The other absolute, disgraceful pathetic excuse for a Bookmaker is of
course JOHNNY JOKETON.
There is no consistency one week he puts up prices early, the next week
he does not.
He advertises on the Internet but WILL not honour those prices all the time.
Sometimes you can get on early in the week other times you can not.

To compare these 2 Bookmakers in the same context is totally inexplicable MT.

MT I understand your frustration 100% for wasting your time and effort
trying to place your bets today but that is JOKETONS fault...nobody elses.

well there have been a number of people complain that the Seal outlet not putting the SANFL prices up on the board on fridays.

maybe its all too hard for them.

Johnny does do it more often and is more inconsistent but the Seal outlet are catching quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest your talk to the SEAL outlet and ascertain
what has transcribed in the past and see if you reach an
amicable response...I am sure you will be heard.

As for GERMTON sports no logical adjudications with this mob
they are totally incompetent and unreliable and unapproachable at times.

Enough said.

cheers mal.

mt went to the auditorium for the both of us today & he has told the story, the point he missed though is we got on with these same prices (internet) in the south central game & again in the west south game then today no go, so if you bet early & lose you can bet the next time, then if you win you cant the next time all we ask is for consistency from bookies & as mal pointed out seal does put up his odds on friday but he wont/doesn't put on board as thornton copies which amazes me because if your going to copy why put your own prices up first & if thornton had a brain he could copy from the internet anyway but then johnny hasn't got a brain

I don't think I've ever got the odds shown on the internet when I've either rang Thornton or visited Morphettville to see his or Seal's odds.
It should amount to false advertising.
I know as well as the next person that odds fluctuate but how come they always fluctuate in a downward and not an upward manner?
Unfortunately we don't have much choice and they realise this.

Fair enough that Curly waits until friday (releasing of teams), but the teams come out in the morning, yet his prices still aren't up by lunchtime. Why is that??? That is disgracefull. Are the staff to lazy to write the figures on the board?
Who cares if Johnny copies them? As long as Curly runs a profit, that should be all that matters to him.
I'm not inspired to bet with either of them (they would've made a killing out of me this year), as my time is valuable, & I don't need to be f***d around, waiting for them to put up prices when they feel like it.
John Thornton & Curly Seal, lift your f****n game!

Is John Joketon still on an SANFL strike ?

He might have to look at his IR and re-employ himself!

am i right in saying that short and curly seal still hasnt paid out on lucys light ?
if thats the case its a bloody disgrace. with what i read on here about his and thorntons shortcomings it appears to me that they would both be in breach of the trade practices act which carries heavy fines, some bastard should dob 'em in, but like racing in this state i am not surprised at their antics, its up the shit!!!!!!!!

STAMPY

that is correct that CURLY is yet to PAY out on Lucy's Light despite every other betting agency paying.

Curly is waiting to see what the Liquor and LIcensing commission come up with as to whether he pays out or not. i believe that is what is happening and i do stand to be corrected.
