BAYMAN/SCD/JJ/CENTREMAN inconsistent

Postby mal » Fri Oct 31, 2008 8:47 am

The fab 4 are very quick with thier typing fingers when horses that back up within 24/48 hours win a race
Last Monday GDP
CHARGED ENERGY
Backed up after a warm Saturday night at GDP and raced on the Monday
CE started at the absurd odds of $1-00 win on Unitab
Yes thats right you cant win you can only lose betting on this horse [ TAB must change thier rules and pay at least $1-04]
History shows CE ran 2nd after a 48 hour back up
I posed the question in last Mondays thread why was it beaten ?
The fab4 did not or cared not to answer my question[or didnt see my post]
One of the fab4 did answer but did not mention the back up
Only independent poster CHIEFY mentioned the back up

SCD/BAYMAN in particular are proactive in posting horses that back up and win
I will be interested in thier views on the CE defeat.

I waited until the stewards report b4 posting

PS
CHARGED ENERGY
SHEPPARTON R5-10 is running 31/10/08

Charged Energy didnt win cos the trainer is a greedy fool, it doesnt take a good trainer to race the guts out of a horse. If he ruins that mare through inexperience and foolishness it will follow him for life, no one will ever give him a good one. She looked tired Monday and if he keeps thrashing her he will end up with nothing, that would be a tragedy cos shes got some ability.

there are 2 reasons why it didnt win- 1. he forgot to hopple it on the sunday
2. the driver was asleep. watch the video properly mal.

MAL INCONSISTENT

Postby SCD » Fri Oct 31, 2008 1:42 pm

I think the thread title needs changing.
I still maintain backing up horses isn't a bad thing unless you are doing it all the time....

MAL > you are the one who says they can't / don't win and you were inconsistant in tipping it as a can win @ black odds on Monday when it was $1.00...

While I don't agree with the trainer having 24 runs in 12 weeks or something like that (they are horses, not machines), If they are constantly backing up and winning, like Charged Energy was in SA, then they will more likely lose a race because they are up in grade more then a backing up issue.

The horse won 3 of it's 4 runs in 9 days. 2 over 1800m and 1 win and a 2nd over 2230m. The win over 2230m was a 1/2 second slower mile rate then when he got beaten a nose, and he did no work in the run, unlike Monday when he had to work around them to the front.

The horse went good last monday..
The fact remains that driver (Matt Smith) was totally outclassed by a good D Harding drive (yet he's driving in 2 of 7 races tonight after winning 4 of 7 on Monday :? :? ). The horse could have had 3 - 4 weeks between runs and still been beaten because of the drivers... Watch the replay and you might also suggest the last 100m it wasn't only the horse who lacked a bit of energy...
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

I think you are all a bit harsh the horse only got beat in the last stride. If the horse saluted everyone would of said great effort 4 wins in 8 days but it took a 12/10 drive by Harding to win.Your a bit tough Chiefy to say Smith was a sleep after he hit the horse from the 400m mark. The only person that should have been asleep is yourself when the boys made a friend call for some HOTDOGS.

i wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of biting back

however it is well documented that david out drove young smith (happens to all of them) on monday

charged energy got beaten a nose, had the horse got beaten 50 metres then you could say it didn't back up, i seem to recall you posted it'll win......DID YOU LAY IT ON BETFAIR ?

i also recall listening to YOUR LATE MALS on 5rph when you were the 'guest tipster' & YOU TIPPED a horse to win that raced the night before at port pirie

when a horse is that short who is going to back them anyway (i know someone did or it wouldn't be paying $1.00)

as centreman posted a week or so ago with horses backing up you have to take into account if they are in harder races, poorly drawn etc etc

but just for you mal on monday i'll work out every horse that hasn't raced on friday & saturday this week & we'll have as an exercise $1.00 e/w on theMALl & see your result
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Yep guilty BAYMAN
I tipped ahorse that ran the night b4 on 5rph
I tipped a horse that was backing up Charged Energy last week
AND THEY BOTH LOST !

I had thought CE was an exception to the rule on Monday
So did all the punters who backed it into $1-00 the win ....
