Anyone else get on Rebel Raider? Had 10 EW on him plus the boxed trifecta of 1,3,4,8 to collect 20 percent. Should have boxed them as the first four but hindsight is always a wonderful thing.

I was in a two man syndicate, we invested 24.80 on the race, walked out with $1050.

Also had 20 on the Northern Meteor/Fists of Fury quinella.

Got the hot tip from former Port player James Ezard. I believe he is dating Kieran McEvoy's sister, which is a long line to get a tip from but Fk Me it payed off.

We put a bet on race 5 where we backed the bolter (like everyone) but took our refund and slapped it on the quinella.

Then went home, got a feed, watched the race seven, danced around for about 10 minutes once she won, then went and collected.

If i stayed in the pub, i woulda been punt punting away.
