overall a tough meeting myself & mal are journeying down & i think mt79 might make an apearance as well

r1 numerous chances 1,2,4,5,7,9 if forced to have a bet it'd be no1 e/w or place but be warned there is two culltons one that puts in & then the other one that doesn't try so stay out
r2 main hopes 4,8,9,10 i'd have something e/w on 9 if you get anywhere near the 7/1 jimmy quoted on the radio i wouldn't think you could get half that
r3 chances 1,4,7 you can risk 6 from draw, if 4 finds the lead & IT CAN it'll win
r4 chances 2,5,7,8 i'd be on 7 or 8 e/w & i'd risk 6 very ordinary monday
r5 constance perm will have to let us know about 10 but i couldn't have it from draw main two are 5,7 while for multis 2,8,9
r6 the 5 will be short but i think 7 can beat it they'll run quinella 1,2,3,6 could run 3rd
r7 very hard the trott i wont be betting in this but for the record 2,3,7,9,10,11,12 could all win without suprising but stay out
r8 very interesting race as they all have ability top pick 7 despite its first failure & while they all have a place chance main dangers 4,5
R9 with 2 divs on the tote i'll back 1 a place & get about 1.70 a place as whatever beats him will win, main dangers 3,7 with next best 6
r10 well if you just want to make a profit no 8 will win presuming it scores up thats the key scoring up watch the score up then back it for the multis 5,6,7,9

for those that just want a profit
r10 no8 will win (watch score up get on very late)

r2 no9 e/w (at odds qouted on radio)
r3 no4 e/w
r6 no7 place
r8 no7 win (if black figures )
r9 no1 place certainty
r10no8 win (see above)

good luck on the punt & we may see you at the track tonight

My sincerest apologies for the losing late MAL

Only R10-8 got up and paid 1-30...I went to the trots specifiaclly for this race

BAYMAN was at the trots and I had to give him my Armaguard phone number!!!!!
He was on fire with his trifectas and backed winners at CANNINGTON dogs !!!!!!!!!

We got to that r10-8 the last and BAYMAN declared Dress To Kill as a $1-05 cert
if it scored up in the mobile.
I emptied out my pockets and even risked the pasty money, and when I saw it score
up to perfection I splurged, BAYMAN had a small fortune on it as well.
The nag was a prohibitive $1-30 favourite on the jump as we plunged on it.
Dressed to Kill jumped well from the 2nd line as we rushed out to watch it.

AFTER 50 METRES THE HORSE GALLOPS #$%^&&%#$%$%^^%%^^%$##
We were extremely fortunate it missed getting tangled up.
Mid race the CHAMP circled the field and went to the front...phew !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The CHAMP won easily.
This was the biggest bet ive had at the red hots for many years.
BAYMAN loaded up and was a happy chappy.

The return was meagre but note the MT79 MAXIM
......."everytime you win you dont lose !"............

d.to.kill was $1.12 on course & what mal said was correct except for the fact that he put it all on infact he borrowed $4.00 of me when quizzed because i knew he was well in front he said (i hope mrs mal doesn't read this) i've got $1198 on me so i dont want to go up & say that so its $2.00 to make it up to $1200 to put on the horse & the other $2.00 for a pilko pasty on the way out but another profitable night & i must thank mal for a couple of dog winners last night as for me i was $900 in front after getting a first 4 (paid $196.00 & the trifecta in same race for $10.00 it paid $57.50) so i had $1000.00 on it

poor drive

Postby bayman » Sun Jul 16, 2006 9:46 am

for those that backed spunkey monkey (i was one) it was a terrible drive by rossie why the hell did he do what he did as all he had to do was wait for the cheat lane & he wins, instead of that he turns the horse sideways to come 3 wide & i said to mal at the time he's blown this & he did & for the record where did the winner come from ? yep it was 3 back the fence & when rossie went sideways it moved into where rossie was & won, a very poor drive by a usually very good driver i can handle people that have no idea making mistakes like that but good drivers should not make those mistakes A VERY POOR DRIVE ROSSIE

I was following you Bayman but when i saw the odds I didnt back the Monkey I backed the 3 for a place as when they were scoring up it was still $2.50 for a place!!!....got beaten but ran second so collected...i was wondering where that winner came from!!!

DUTCHY

Our dog ITSA BEE ran 2nd last night in a sprint, it began ok
and ran on well to run a nice 2nd.
the quins/exactas paid massive on that race.
I think its distance is the 600m
500 to short as it gets up in grades
600 perfect
700 too far

snce its 700m failure[groin injury] it has not raced at 700m since.

Agree with BAYMAN that Spunkey Monkey was poorly driven.

The crowd as expected was light on for a winter meeting, one thing
I noticed was the crowd was predominantly middleaged or pensioners.
When this generation no longer goes no one will go there.
I enjoyed the night as I watched the WC/SS game on TV in between
betting on Cannington and Globe Derby races.
Both bookies gave friendly service.
