MANGLE PARK 10/8/08 + Greyhound gossip

NOMINATIONS MANGLE PARK MONDAY 14/08/06
--------------------------------------------------------

The far fetched unconfirmed rumour around the traps is
that some leading Greyhound trainers are pulling out
thier nominations on Monday.
I personally didnt think it was true but during the Wednesday
morning meeting the on course commentator the enigmatic
Jimmy Jaques did broadcast an extension of nominations on
the loud speaker........surely this is not happening?

PORT PIRIE DOGS
---------------------

A complaint of sorts has been made by a trainer about how his
dog caught fleas at the PP meeting recently.
The allegation is against a leading Adelaide trainer.
Once again can not confirm.

COULD ONLY HAPPEN AT MANGLE PARK
----------------------------------------------

A battling trainer was suspended for 3 years over an altercation
of some sort and left her greyhound behind in the kennel house
for a couple of days.

One trainer was scathing of Mangle Park, on a recent trip to
Melbourne our track was called non chasers park !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He said South Australia is the laughing stock in Australia.

MALS BEST BETS
--------------------

ANG4-2 TEN TORNADOS........................................WIN

SAN9-4 PRINCE LYRIC...........................................PLACE
HOB10-3 PITSTOP WRAP........................................PLACE

DUTCHYS TREBLE
--------------------

very very difficult, tread warily

12457/25/field cost $40 for 50c unit.

YOUNG HECTOR
------------------

MT79 has a very high opinion of the dog
I am confused with the training tactics ?
It race twice a week for ages and its form tapered off, in
fact the dog was pulling up on the first turns.
The dog despite not racing truly was taken to sydney and ran last !
It was given 2 weeks off and ran 3rd at APK
It was given 2 weeks off again and was back to its brilliant
best running a scorching 29-90.
So we get the dog back to its best and then the dog has 4 days off
and runs unplaced at Strathalbyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It fronts up 4 days later in the National Sprint Championship tonight.
Why ??????

Good luck all on the punt.

here we go

4 - 2 should just be winning. The 8 can run a place.

9 - 1 will be very short and should just WIN by plenty. the trainer ran the dog in a trial last sat morning after it had just smashed the gawler track record over 643m and it had another 'fit'. the question i ask is why would the dog need a trial?

10 - 5 the best dog.

I suggest an all up
4 - 2win 4 - 8 place 4 - 8 place
9 - 1 win 9 - 1 win 9 - 1 win
10 - 5win 10 - 5 win 10 - 5 place

of to ALBION PARK

2 - 2 WILL JUST WIN
5 - 4 WILL ALSO JUST WIN
take those two all up

3 - 8 absolutely no luck last start can be placed
10 - 7 another that can run money

SANDOWN

7 - 1 should be winning from the good draw

MALS SUMMARY

The selection process is working fine, I am selecting things that
are good odds in the press but they keep paying half the oddson the TAB
Im sick of tipping dogs at $8 in the paper for a place to see them
pay $1-50 every week.
Once again for about the 15th meeting in a row PUNITAB paid in
total less than than the other tabs most of the night
2 examples of what I am saying
DRIFTALONG $8 in paper paid $1-70 a place
PRINCE LYRIC $7 in the paper paid $1-20 a place !!!
Ten tornados $2-20 in the paper paid $1-60
Feel like giving up!
