well here we go again for another brekky meeting.

1 - a mixed maiden and grad over 600m, not a lot of form to go on here. 7 has had 1 start for a 2nd over the distance and would be the top pick over 3 who runs on and extra distance should suit and the 2 for third.

2 - id think the 8 lenira sunrise should be right in the money here, well boxed out wide. the 2 should also figure prominently. the 5,7 could run well as they have ok times at gawler in qualys.

3 - 1 looks well placed and should be winning for mine.

4 - a few chances here, an even race. the 4 looks to be the best dog but did fall last start and if it hasnt taken any serious problems from it should win. other chances go to 6 then 3 and the 8 looks wel boxed out wide to run money.

5 - well the 6 Free Schooner ( we all like those) is a leader only dog, when it dont lead it dont chase as was the case last start at Gawler. the red is first up from NSW with good form. should show early pace and should be right in the finish. the 8 is first up from QLD and is in an astute kennel and one to watch the market on.

6 - well the red is well boxed and has run the times to win this. the 6 did show good pace at its only Angle Park run and the 8 also has good times and has won from wide boxes.

7 - the 2 BLACKJACK MCLAREN is the best dog in the race and is first up from january where it was in open grade races, back to an easy grade 5 day meeting, if anywhere near its best should be winning. the red is normally a good beginner and is well boxed and could be the early leader. the 5 is consistent and can run a place along with the 7 who goes well here.

8 - if the 3 first up from NSW is near its best it will BLOW THESE AWAY and will be very short on the tote, i can see it being near $1.20. maybe anchor it in the last leg of treble.
the 8 can begin well and maintain a forward position.

GOOD LUCK FOR THOSE PUNTING TOMORROW MORNING

went and watched Making The Road........ couldnt beleive the run it was one of the best I have ever seen.
Exact words from TMac where..... after 50m .....he didnt even relize it didnt jump..... he goes after 3 seconds "Ohhh Making The Road has missed it hoplessly, he's 15 lengths of the last horse" the next time he called it at the 1000m it was "5 lengths further away to #$#@%@% then another 5 lengths to Making the road.... at the 600m he said :"and the last pair have tacked on"..... it railed on the turn saving ground and passed a few then hooked around the leaders and flew home in the straight to get beaten 1.5 lengths... TMac said " Making the Road...What sort of a run it" at the 200m when it railed into 4th spot. Then creamed himself when it flew home for second finishing 2 to their 1....."After missing the start 15 lengths Making the Road has flown home for second"
It was a MASSIVE run..... similar to Cheltenham last start it missed it 4 lengths and loomed up to win.
I had it one out in the treble and am spewing with the first legs paying $11.90 and $6.....it should have won. Ended the day in front but should have been a sh#t load more... NEXT START over more ground it will be winning punters.
