France Trots 17/2/09

Postby jackpot jim » Tue Feb 17, 2009 9:44 pm

Starting from tonight, Vic and NSW tabs are betting on the trots and Gallops from France.
The 1st Trot tonight is at 11.20 SA time.

Anyone got a preview for me?

interesting to see how the pool sizes go. Couldn't be any worse than Punitabs pool on Race 1 at NZ trots
today where there was a win pool of $169 and Nos. 2 & 10 were paying $0.00  (NO win units placed on them)

There are some strange rules in France compared to Australia.
Apparently hardly a race goes by without horse getting Disqualified by stewards. :?
Any Galloping in the last 250m is Disqualified Automatically and also if a horse breaks more than once in a race.

Also with the names of Pacers, ALL 2 yo start with the letter T. 3 yo with the letter S and 4 yo with the letter R. Apparently a real nightmare for the race callers.

PuniTab win pool for R1 $2,294
VicTab win pool for R1 $1,582

Not worth betting into those Win pools. I'll leave them for MAL. ;) Any 2 pool of $87

Interesting to see what the win pool is in Victab by the time they get to Race 5 @ 1.50am Vic time.

Interesting to note that the Trotters are disqualified during the actual running of the race and are pulled out of the race on the spot.

i dont think DUTCHY punts on the french trots but he was giving the punters that do want to try and back a winner that BETFAIR is the place to punt, given the pool sizes are significantly bigger then our TAB pools and you can bet in the run.
