Does anyone know why race 9 at Ballarat was abandoned last night?! Had a bet on roo burger's premier reward so just wondering!!

There was a problem with the time of when the boxes opened. either too early or too late.

yeah it happens a fair bit

the boxes will either open up too early or way too late

At Ballarat
Stewards declared the event a "NO RACE" due to the lids opening prematurely.
Sweet Sachet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising and abrasions to the left forehead and eyelid, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
At NZ today the front lid was almost forced open and the 1 and the 6 got half way out then squeezed back in.
then the bunny went passed and he slowed it down to let them catch up.
the 1 missed it by 5l
had to be abandoned.
