Seriously, you might dominate with the 1.20 pops but one loss and you are back to square 1!!!!
The most logical post on this thread by B/SLEDGE
Inevitably $1-20 will get beat and all the hard work is down the gurgler
To put things in perspective
I tip a LATE MAL when I think its unbeatable
I usually tip what I have at $1-10 in my assessments
Truthfully unless Im sure of getting $1-30 + I wont back em
When I get set odds of $1-40 + on Betfair I launch
I had TIGER OREILLY $1-10 earlier this year and feasted on the $1-60
The $1-20 CLARENDON ELECTRA was almost a bet but I declined
I did however lay most of the field on Betfair
FWIW
If I declare a LATE MAL it can also mean
Dont bet against it
Or if you do bet against it lessen your investment
ANOTHER EXAMPLE
I have rated ST $1-10 to beat the PANTHERs this week
If the bookies go up a $1-30 + I will back em
This is a scale of ratio betting I suggest
$1-20... NO BET
$1-30... $100
$1-40....$200
$1-50 ....$300
$1-60....$400
$1-70.....$500
The bigger the value the bigger the bet
I use a similar principal in backing them at SA trots as well [but far less amounts]
With Clarendon Electra I did suggest I was looking for $1-33 or better to back it
