Firstly their road record is terrible, but this is part of why I like this bet, they have an 8 day break leading into the game so have a great lead in preparation wise and will use their record as motivation IMO. They had a good win up there late last year.

Brisbane coming off 4 trips to Melbourne in the past 6 weeks and the past 2 weeks on the road and concrete of ES. Despite their good form they are the 2nd worst team for conceeding Inside 50's averaging 54 per game, only Melbourne are worse with 55. With Carltons midfield you can almost guarantee they will get the ball I50 at least 50 times, thsi should be enough to give them a more than competitive score. Adelaide is the only decent team they have beaten this year and that was only on a good second half of footy. Swans are the only team they have beaten who is currently inside the 8.

Will do some more study during the week but at the moment this will be a 4 Unit play on Carlton at the line and maybe a unit on the ML

I remember last year's game very well as it was only one of two itsadud system bets that didn't get up for the year (Brisbane were favourites and still lost), I tried to analyse why, Brisbane just played really, really badly, maybe some stuff going on behind the scenes - an anomaly that couldn't really be counted for.

Well researched Dutchy and I may plonk some on the Blues, but as far as confidence goes in winning then sorry I'm all out

On top of that, no Merrett, no Patful. Merrett normally plays ok on Fev, however they'd have to go with Bradshaw I reckon.
