Thoroughbred's have theirs on 1st January up here in the northern hemisphere (think it's the same for the Yanks) and I think it's 1st August down your way.

last month (harness horses have their birthday on the 1st september, most if not all other horses have theirs on the 1st of august)

oh btw mal did send them a birthday wish on their birthday

Do we know why they have a different day to other horses

they changed it a few years ago, it has something to do with breeding & letting young horses develope more....i'm sure centreman & co would have the exact reason or at least word it better
