Breathtaking win. Even allowing for a leader bias, for such an inexperienced runner to brain them like that is quite astonishing. We will never, in our lifetimes, see another trainer like J.B. Cummings.

How much is Manhattan Rain worth now following that run. Absolute fortune.

Ground too hard for Vision & Power, would've loved a drop of rain. Settled well in a nice spot, but just couldn't keep with them as they went for home.

Potted Whobe & HOD in a tri & had 1,2,3,6,12,13,14 so made a few $$$$

Had a great day at the Cox Plate yesterday, didn't win anything, lost plenty of cash, but the scenery around the place certainly made up for that 8)

Surely 2nd in the Cox bumps his value up a bit. I know he is always going to worth a fortune, but that kind of performance (especially after some relatively moderate performances throughout his career) puts his value up a few notches.

Read something in the paper that the Rain was worth 80 million before the Cox Plate. No doubt that has increased by a decent clip now.
