WT... 1-80 need to win again to prove a point
NA... 3-00 $$$$$$$$$$$ lets go shopping
CD.... 3-00 due to spend up
PA ..... 51 might be favourites if buy players
SA.... 51 $$$$$$$$$$$ lets go shopping AGAIN
GL ....101 dont spend enough
NW....501 bankrupt
WA...1001 best team in SA but lose all thier players to AFL
ST.... 2001 bankrupt

But who knows when the cheque book is presented
then the logic in putting up a market is farcical.
When I find out the bank balances of each club
then I can submit a logical market.
The $$$$$$$$$$ANFL no longer rewards the best team, best
junior development, its now the best financially run clubs that
dominate proceedings.
WA have produced probably the most juniors for AFL and look where they are.

North - faves in my book. Reserves Flag and a prelim in league with a lot of collateral damage from this and the qualifying final.
Port - were looking great until about Rd 10 and then the rot set in. Provided they can manage some personalities on their playing roster they should have the potential to improve significantly, esp if they recruit well.
Central - will be interesting to see what the GF loss does to them mentally after many years of success. New territory for them and the club since the premiership loss to Sturt.
Eagles - Will be under pressure to back up their success. Fuller will feel it most, and after beating their nemesis in Central they could strengthen their reputation or fall in a hole. Have some good recruits in the wings I believe.
Glenelg - along with South and Norwood, showed some glimpses of real form this year but lacked consistency. If they win a few more games and got a double chance, who knows what could happen on the day?
South - recruited well in 2006 of course - off-field performance has improved significantly and a firm new culture is being built. Ignore in 2007 at your peril.
Norwood - has many names on paper but needs a stronger game plan and more pace. 2007 recruiting must be to aim to ensure improvement to at least a 4th or 5th placed finish but a premiership is not around the corner just yet.
Sturt - new coach, will take time. Unlikely finalists.
West - beat Port at Alberton and Norwood at the Parade. Doug's out, the Weed has had a year to look at his list. Premiership in 2007? No.

Odds to come once I have digested the %age theory stuff.

Here goes nothing.... :!:

North $3.00
Eagles $4.00
Central $5.00
South $8.00
Port $8.00
Glenelg $12
Norwood $40
Sturt $150
West $150

= %115 I think.

NA clear favourites now.
Not because they get back Shannon Motlop + Sporn but because
I drove past the Grand Central goldmine on Grand Junction Road on
Tuesday night and saw 30 cars in the carpark at 10-00 oclock.
