take these 5 as an allup & you should be collecting, if they dont win you'll be collecting cans

lets pretend [LULU song in the 6os]
Your first 3 links get up
The 4th link is a horse you would back at $2 or greater on the punt
It comes up $1-20
It is $1-30 as they score up
would you like to cancel the allup then ?

I got 3 legs up and had a dog called DANUSKA for a place in the last of 4 all up links
I started with $10 on 4 dogs
Got to the last leg with just over $100 on DANUSKA
It came up about $4-00 the win $1-00 the place
It stayed $1-00 a place and jumped at those odds
You guessed it it ran 4th
And I had my investment on a dog that was way below my odds
So when going all up I dont bother anymore
Just wait for the races and punt all up individually if the odds are right
Why have a win allup on something thats $2 in the paper, that you have rated at $1-80 that is paying $1-20.
Very poor value allups, I am with JJ on this topic
Centreman has a great strike rate with allups at the trots perhaps he will disagree
Bayman also has some big collects on allups
But for me I think you lose to much value in the process as some are below your desired odds
ALLUPS on sports bets [or race bets] at fixed odds is different as you are set and not allupping blind

Mal the fact the paper has something $2 means absolutey jackSH!T. Let me know when you can get on for real money at paper price!!!!!!!!
I'm sure your allup didn't make the Dog pay $1 the place. Maybe that was its right price cos plenty of people backed it.
All up are a way of getting a return from a small out lay. Simular what Quaddies and trebles can do. These days you can put them on with most of the corp bookies. Can cross codes and meetings aswell. So your money doesn't go in the pool and effect the price!!! Giving you a more true price/return. Even better than you get on the quaddies etc sometimes you get under compared to the all up prices!!!!!

I would only think about an all up if I was say at the footy and not monitoring the results.

Good points
Good startergies, your allups with a bookie the way to go and not flood your selections in a tote pool + maximise your investment
BUT
Same question as BAYMAN
If you had your last link on a horse you rated at $1-80 that is showing $1-20 the win as they score up , would you like to cancel your ticket ?

Correct, also allows you to take back your initial outlay therefore reducing your risk if successful in early legs...
read an article a few months ago about how much Bookies love Multis/All ups, they make plenty from them, you wont find one professional punter who is succesful that makes $ from multis
