Can't believe Port are favourites in tonights game-Crows look overs to me at 1.91. Port are fielding lots of young kids and I think Craig will still be playing plenty of experience. Norwood trial game was a bit of a farce but overlooking that I thought Nathan Bock looked good as did douglas, mattner, archard(rookie) and young David Mckay(18 from Vic).

I'm with you Dutchy- 1.91 looks very good value.

Surely Carlton for wooden spoon- any team that includes a player who is yet to debut in their leadership group alongside scotland, stevens and whitnal(prob fev as well) is obviously struggling in the leadership department. Not sure about Brisbane Lions hopes this year either-might struggle also but do have brown, black, power, johnson etc who are probably better than carltons top players.

depending on where you do your shopping depends on the price really.

i saw centrebet had the crows at $1.85.

I dont think ill be betting until the season proper. Last year the cats were going all out to win the cup which they did, but this year they are going in a bit more slowly and timing themselves for the season-proper which is what most sides should be doing.

TO win the CUP id be looking at teams that maybe havent won anything for a while (like geelong last year) and that want to win something to bolster up memberships and a higher fan base.

Game man Stumps, On the surface its lloks like a good bet but Ive just looked the the teams for tonight and Roos are full strength apart from Archer while the Pies are fielding a Under 22 team and even McKenna said the Roos will thump them!!!

Crows $2.05 on sportsbet.com.au

The best betting firm in Australia by a mile. (And that's from a man that spent over a decade with Centrebet)

PS Goodwin's out, I'd take Port if they were better odds.

i'll just have a look at them until the season starts as we all know some teams more than others treat them purely as a trial, for the record i think port because they'd be more desperate to win than the crows (in my opinion)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

the Crows aren't even fielding their 3rd starting 18, meanwhile Port are treating this game like the world cup.

Hawthorn to win the Cup at $12 - put it, take out, IMHO. They will go all out from the first bounce, fielding full strength teams; get over Melbourne this week, and very hard to go past them.

by the time i got around to putting it on, power was into 1.8 and kangas into 1.83 so the punters were on the mark tonite

yeh centrebet has fallen way behind in last few years, even the tab has better odds on somethings these days that wouldnt have happened a couple years back, the only real thing centrebet is good for is that it bets on anything and everything.
have def been overtaken by a few (sportsbet, sportingbet, ias, portlandbet, sports acumen - if ur into spread betting)
global sportsbet is also a decent one during footy season they give 1.95 lines on the afl on a friday for all the matches

Yep Centrebet's prices have softened to be more like the TAB's due to them going Public last year after being Private ownership for years....they are getting less and less of my business..
