Well, I can only give my best opinion, and again, you could have made some money with it.

Wes will win this competition, his new single is pretty damn catchy. I'm bound to hate it within a month.

This is where I get on the Luke bandwaggon
Wes will now make it in the industry no matter where he finishes.
Luke is a battler who could do with the leg up.
I hope for Luke to win

Apart from Guy & Shannon and perhaps Ricki Lee, none of them have done shite......
Wes could be a stayer, and Luke if he gets through will have the number 1 album/single etc
then it'll be back to shearing sheep....

Luke will have his own country niche I reckon. Rather than hit the mainstream pop charts I think he'll end up on the Country Music Channel.

That's what they said about Shannon too... and I'm pretty sure he still is the number 1 money making idol.
It all depends how much they 'want it' and how much work and time they put into it I suppose.
Shannon did the whole tour the country thing, whether it was big city, or small country town, hence got a lot of respect and record sales etc.

And 'someone' could well be right.
I think Wes could very well win it too.
But I'm hoping and fingers crossed that Luke does.

As I said earlier... never really liked Wes... but he 'grew' on me.

It depends if the 'underdog' theory comes into it or not.
I think he does have a chance... but once again, all depends on the voting public and that's the unpredictable part.
