Bowman in a bit of strife

Was just about to ask .. How much strife we think he's in? If it was AFL like and went by injury caused he'd be fargged like a virgin on a honeymoon

A horse is dead & a jockey is severely injured...

Yeah that was my point bud (without meaning to sound insensitive, apologies if it came across that way)

Yep, was a horrid interference, especially by a senior jockey. Should get three months till the start of spring carnival.

Who knows what he'll get. He Can't try and defend by saying its just a racing accident either.
But I'd be surprised if he's back anytime this year....

Understand totally different sports, but some similarities hey .. In Aussie Rules you hope to see people cross the line without ending in injury, similarly you like to see Jock's ride aggressively and have a real crack - Difference between the two sports can be life and death though. Huey gotta be in highest bracket of strife you'd think

Was clearly alot of pressure on him to get that horse home imo. Inquiry into betting??
Do stewards have the power to disqualify horse on the spot? If not they should
He should get the longest penalty possible, is life on the table?
Compensation to owners/trainer/jockey of deceased horse.

I imagine they would have insurance, who knows what the worth of the horse is though, had ability, dont know what they paid for him?
Insurance company might go after Bowman who's insurance company would be coughing up leaving Bowman off scott free.

The more i think about it he should get life

Trainer Danny Williams said before the race that Hot’N’Hazy is the best horse he’s ever trained...

Was meant to go out for dinner last night, decided to go to the pub for some me time.

Race 6 in Kalgoorlie, put a $4 tri on my girl Jade McNaught to win and won about $80.

Race 7, did a $6 tri with Jade to salute again, nek minnit, $1100 return.

Lucky dinner fell through!!

I have never been so pissed off to win a $300 multi in my life.
The last 2 races today at Warwick Farm, bout an hour before i fixed the two winners $10 at $2.90 and $9,50. They paid 4.70 and 20.40 TT so what couldve been 940 ends up 290, absolute crooks they are.

And then I didnt realize the footy started early so didnt get a multi, not sure if ill be able to watch the footy without an interest in it

I get burnt using fixed odds all the time - For promo races you accept that’s the rub for money back 2nd and 3rd, but non-promos it stings. I reckon %95 of the time TT is the better option, unless you can fix a price within 60 seconds of jump. Every now and then I’ve got lucky fixing something between $20-$70 that shortens significantly and salutes, but tbh it’s pretty rare.

Not sure how it wasnt 6 months min...

Slightly different given its integrity based, but JMac cops 2 years for betting on his ride which he won on.
