A race in two for mine. #5 leads, #4 hunts it down. Not a great deal of pace from the other runners except 2,6. But #2 is more of a fader than #5.

I am not convinced in having #2,8 high up in the market which JOE might do.

I believe that #1 is perfectly drawn against this field, and with the lack of pace on the outside gets a huge chance to hold the rails and improve several lengths on past runs - which is enough in my mind to beat this field.

This race is much easier to split the field. Too much pace and track ability for the #8 against these. Best hope is that the #6 begins quicker and keeps inside holding #8 out. But besides from that #8 should account for these.

A great race split amongst 5 chances for mine.

#3 has to lead this field, gets a great chance to do so with #1,2 drawn inside who have no pace and #4 outside who also has no pace. But #5 gets an improved chance this time around as also has early pace. This means #3,5 should get clear at the first bend,

#6,8 like to run on. #6 is drawn closer to the rails and doesn't mind being out wide, while #8 needs to find the rails much earlier than #6 to do best.

#7 is the smokey and one for exotics has ability to JUMP

8 wins at the $5.60, a tad unders but given the market it was a must for quaddie players

To be held at Angle Park Thursday:
Race 4: (First heat)
1. Josephine Wiz $20.00 - slow out, runs on but wont be up to these
2. Proven Impala $1.40 - looks good at best, last start looked sore
3. Delightful Bond $8.00 - jumps well and gets the trip ok, smokey
4. Miss Woods $4.00 - consistent and should be there at the finish
5.Kalden Mayhem $2.30 - getting on a bit, but still has plenty in him
6. Super Pick $10.00 - has ran well here in the past, this look tough
7. Alis Bale $10.00 - hard to see him winning, might sneak into f4s
8. Robert Andrew $6.50 - had some bad luck recently, can run well
9. Token Jinx Scratched
(2) Proven Impala has recently won a group 1 and looks very hard to beat, question is
weather it can win first up here. (5) Kalden Mayhem is a strong as they get and is next best
(4) Miss woods is honest and will be trying hard all the way. (8) Robert Andrew looks
best of the rest.

1. Cousin Callum $2.00 - will lead, but needs a push at the end

3. Uno lesson $20.00 - slow out but surges home, place looks best
4. Atelier $6.00 - seems like a smart type, big chance
5. Mclaren Grace $20.00 - can run, not quite at this level
6. Mimmicking $2.50 - will be in the mix, big threat
7. Madison Dee $4.00 - proven 700 performer, expect good things
8. Azz Always $6.00 - jumps well but box 8 doesnt suit, place best
9. (2) Token Jinx $20.00 - gains a start, but won't be winning this

Kalden Mayhem was very good last night. Would be my tip for the final should sit behind 1 & 3 and have last shot at them in the straight

This is incredibly hard to separate the runners here. I know INCLUSION has had some great trials and last run was a good indication that he can run up to trial form. Monaleen Flyer is drawn perfectly and isn't too bad away, loves the rails and will be charging home late.

The ground that #2 INCLUSION was in on the Tuesday meet, was worse than drawing Box 2 today. But given the history and box habits, will be counting on #3 moving out a little bit.

We know that UNFLEXABLE would probably prefer to be drawn outwide and that is a plus for INCLUSION.

#5 MAGIC MANTRA can break 6.60 first split. But will need to lead this field. Bendigo form normally holds up strong here, but has 2 strong dogs on the inside at HVL. This is such a tight race and I can only see #5 MAGIC MANTRA winning if jumps. The other 3 can all win without leading.

The rest of the field don't stand a chance against these.

I know what your going to say.... COUPE DE MAIN accounts for this field easily and anything over $2.40 is a gift....

But I am still not convinced. All of these close placings from the 4 trips here in varying times are yet to persuade me. Will once again push out middle of the track about 100m mark again. I am thinking here that #4 UNFANTASIZED can lead this field. Well will need to anyway.

It is a poor field. And perhaps my market is wrong on this race as Joe will be finding odds on #2.

#5 to provide value for exotics.

Another betting race with some clear selections for mine. Outright pace comes from #2,5,8.

#4 BIG MAC will move towards the rails. #8 is far better suited on the outside of this field, but in terms of ability to run time here, may fall short - especially in the poor ground outwide.

If this race goes the way I think it will, #2 will jump to the lead from #5. #4 gives room to #5. #8 jumps ahead of 6,7 and makes way to middle of track and stays there.

I do like solid Crabourne performers who come to HVL. I think #8 can lead all the way against this field with #4 Besides running on. Key will be to keep clear of 3,5 early for #4.

An open leg to kick start the Quaddie. The most important part to this race for mind is whether #2 FAVALORO can jump ahead of this field. Gets every chance to with #1 slower out, #5 slow out and rails up, #3 slow out, #4 slow out. This is a race where perhaps 6,7,9 are better positioned to run a place than the slow beginners.

If I was betting exotics in this race I would be looking for the value on #2 and #7 if you can get it.

Bingle Bay to lead all the way. We know the #7 is slower out and heads straight to the rails, but Major Fire can jump quite well and stay ahead that is the key to Rainbows Gift race. Will just sit out-wide and move across to the rails and be finishing on strongly. There is a lot of cover for BINGLE BAY to run away.

Is too talented for this field. #2 begins well and holds great racing position for the race. #7 does like it outwide and can run on if doesn't find bother. #5,6 are drawn well to improve and perhaps run 3rd/4th.

#4 to lead, #8 is the iffy runner with City form, but drawn outwide is good for this Sandown form.

#3 is also going to get some clean racing room early unless #4 SO MANIC jumps the lids again and crashes to the rail.

#5 has the draw and the speed to win.
