Better ground today & there’s been money for it.

Slow away from gate 4, ends up 3 back the paint :vom:

In the 4th tomorrow at Wangaratta, thought the $19 looked overs.

Willydoit went nicely in his final piece of work this morning. He is relaxed and ready to go.

The plan is to ride him conservatively as is his preference, hoping for reasonable tempo to allow him to finish over the top of them with his devastating acceleration.

This is a very exciting step for your horse as he works his way through the grades and up in trip. Tomorrow's race is worth $80,000, a significant step up from the $25,000 race he won last start. As such, even though he is currently favourite, the field he meets is noticeably stronger, including the undefeated second fav TUXEDO who is a last start Group 3 winner.

Also have
Mornington r3 - high tempo.
Thinking the track might be too firm.
I'll be staying out.

Willy - $2.40 - can't be touching that.

Good patient ride. Resisted the burn early to lead or sit outside the leader with a . Smallish field and outside draw.

Great sprint over the last 300 once clear.

Enjoy.

Never gonna lead.
Was happy for him to just sit on the fence and see what happens.
But when the gap opened he put em away quickly.

Masa goes alright over there
