Shep Race 5

6 LUCKY MOMENY $2.74
3 SUPREME DARKNESS $6.37
7 SEE YOU LATTE $7.08
10 FROTHIES ANGEL $10.79
8 SNOW DANGER $11.99
2 ELITE YIPPEE $14.80
1 BIG WANALTA $20.30
5 BLEDISLOE $22.56

274-EXACTA

This can be a tricky race. There is plenty of pace from 6,7 in the early stages of the race and we know #2 Supreme Darkness is a CAT (Ie wont chase bunny, will chase other runners). And most of the time, these CATS since they are not seen as winning chances are not put into exotics giving the dividend value.

I believe that Supreme Darkness is going to sit on the fence behind #6 Lucky Moment who should cross this field easily. From there #3 will cause a few problems for #7 who won't go round. Reserve is perfectly positioned in this race too, hence why rated so highly in the market order.

How do we bet?

Well, I think this race is a simple equation to bet into.

Exacta 6-3,7 X 5 = $10

just gone through and worked out the best selection

2 - 5 is from a little system I operate, looks the goods in this

5 - 6,7 only winning hopes

9 - 6 , 4 again two chances here I could find

gone all up the above selections and doubled up races 2 and 5

also did race 2 - 5,8 into race 5 - 6,7

8 BABY BONUS $3.52
1 DIVA DOLL $4.34
5 CANE CALDO $5.96
3 FROSTY COBRA $6.62
4 STONE HILL $15.38
2 PANTHEON $23.44
7 DINGO $26.04
6 BEST CHORD $49.00

362-QUIN

#1 Diva Doll is hit/miss and will need to rail up here to win. Can be knocked around in early stages of race as #3 has enough pace, even the #4 can ping the lids, but #4 fades badly.

#8 Baby Bonus gets a clear run out-wide and has no pace on inside so should clear easily and muster up quickly as crosses to to the rail clearly as insides jostle for position. #5 is positioned perfectly to sit on the rail behind the pace setters and is stronger in the finish. Great place VALUE if >$1.80.

As you can see the market reflects their winning chances in this race. I believe only 4 dogs can win this race, the others just play a part in how suited the runners are.

How to bet if you can't bet at time of jump.

For $10 spendage in this race
Box Quin Top 4 = $6
$4 WIN on Top Rater

the 5 is nice overs at this stage

boxing up your top 4 in the tri

Nice work!

A little bit of interferance ruined my race. But it happens. Hard to find the value in Race 2 though, looks like punters are well on top of 5,8.

When your betting with smaller amounts, you have to aim for the higher S/R bets, unless you are betting appropiately to a bank. IE: BANK $1000 ... Bet 2% = $20 per race.

If you have a bank of say $250 and your betting $10 a race then you have a smaller chance of your bank sustaining a long run of outs. And they come, especially with exotic betting.

A simple trifecta to take would be

5,8-5,8-1,3 = $4 for 100%
5,8-1,3-5,8 = $4 for 100%
5-8-3 $2 for 200%

OUT $10
