Did Tourneur get up?

I backed Price against my better judgment - he rarely wins the jockey bet because in my opinion he's just not a strong enough rider to get runners consistently in the placings... I also made a mistake because I checked scratchings at the TAB but somehow missed Custodian, which was Price's best ride. Don't know really whether it was me or they'd missed it...

Anyway, Tourneur was next best so I hope you got the money. Incidentally, the results show Rawiller winning at $9 after the first... which was ridiculous too because he didn't have a ride in the first so I'm not sure what was supposed to have changed.

Just saw the result Dutchy - a 4 way tie... at least you made 25% on your money...

I didn't really like Adelaide or Melbourne today - when the "any other jock" is prominent in the market then there's obviously no real strong individual contenders, which increases the chance of a tie, which in turn stuffs up any value bets.

Well done Grub... sorry I originally thought it was Dutchy who backed DT... Yes, always a sense of relief when they ride the last winner...

Any other Individual Jockey (M Hellyer (a)) ended up winning so those who took the favorite wouldnt be happy.

The favourite was $1.01 as well.... he eased out..... thats a first $1.01 pop going under in a JC..... I honestly think the odds assesor panics when reassessing the JC after the first or second race.... sure points in the bank is great but if you still have good rides to come you can still win it.... and often get overs.....
