Some helpful little pointers. Look at the AGE of HANK in Race 6 compared to the rest of the field. Once a greyhound hits around 4-5 years old, they start to come to the end of their career and lose certain aspects of their ability that give them that edge. Punters base their information on history and if they still think that Hank is just as capable as he used to be, then they will bet accordingly, especially in a field of new youngsters.

And that is where you will find plenty of UNDERS for OLDER greyhounds.

So just have a quick squizz of the age of the greyhound and look at the form decline.

Almost Mr. Willy, almost. But we knew Smoke Home really does motor in the latter stages and Hank is old and lost his edge, so wasn't worried at all. Did ruin my exotics, but so did 3rd place. So was happy to find plenty of OVERS around on Smoke Home.

The reason behind the PLACE bet in Race 8 for #7 Where's Freeman is that in a race full of pacy beginners it gives the slow starters a great chance to position up nicely on the rail and charge home over the top of many speedsters. Purely because all of these pacy types can't find a good position and there will be ones shoved wide or better still, caught up in trouble.

Traralgon 513m also favours runners who are strong finishers which gives Where's Freeman a greater chance in my opinion.
The only worry is, that if you have a slow starter who finds a LOT of trouble. This normally indicates that they lack the racing skills to weave through the traffic.
